Takasago Onsen

Great baths and restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Golf driving range across the road was fun!

Little bit far from the town centre. Wasn’t a huge issue as we had a car but otherwise would need to take taxis. Futons on the floor not the most comfortable but that’s what you expect in this type of accommodation.

Before arriving, I did not think I cared for the Onsen experience, but this location changed my mind. The high ceilings and ample room and various pools with different temperatures really allowed me to get the full experience, which I found very relaxing. The large chain hotels that offer an Onsen usually just have very hot water temperatures, similar to a hot tub, which I only enjoy for a short period of time, but this hotel offered a wide range of temperature pools, so going to very hot to cold was exceptionally relaxing. I also enjoyed the roof top pools, with views of the city. The room was also very pleasing and comfortable, with very nice decorations and minimal clutter. The beds and table were great.

Nothing.
