Great location, easy walk from Asahikawa station through the shopping and restaurant strip. Facilities were great, after a week in hotels it was nice to have an apartment where we could relax and wash up properly (both clothes and travel mugs etc.)

Not much to dislike, except perhaps that it was basic accommodation but the price was on the high side. It worked for us though, so no real complaints.

The inside of the flat is pretty nice, simple but well equipped, you have a kitchen, a TV, air con, a washer dryer (I didn't try it). It's also very close to the station. There were detailed instructions in the home on how to use things which I appreciated. Check in was easy.

The main problem I had was that it's a ground floor and literally outside your window to the living room at the back it's basically a massive building site with diggers and people excavating the foundations to the building at the back so it's quite noisy and building started at 7.30am on a Sunday and a little before 8am on a Monday. When I enquired about this to staff and asked what time the work will be finished they initially tried to say that they knew nothing about it and that there was no major works going on, and that maybe it was a single person doing some home renovations, which was frustrating. (I am attaching pictures to prove I wasnt making it up 😅) This is the kind of thing I would have liked to know at the time of booking. Also for cooking there was one pot and one pan/wok but the pan had no handles so it was a bit difficult to use it. One more thing was that the house rules and manual reads a bit like a legal document warning in a lot of detail of what not to do, including making sure there are no odors, washing up after yourself, dont leave too much rubbish and about everything you'd be liable to if you break things. Which was all fine except the tone comes across a little unfriendly.
