Can't wait to return to Bliss Boutique Hotel on Sunset Beach very soon

Great location, from our Check In with Sam to our last day the staff at the Bliss Boutique Hotel could not be more helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic room over looking the pool and a balcony with a sea view. Everything about the hotel allows for a relaxing stay. There was a great sunset view of Table Mountain whilst eating dinner in the restaurant and if you get the chance you must try the seared tuna steak. Looking forward to the day when we can return to the Bliss Boutique Hotel and Cape Town.

A lovely stay, thank you Bliss Boutique Hotel

Fabulous staff, especially Samuel, Wayne and Julian who we saw most often. They made us feel so at home as did everyone else. Thanks also to the housekeeping team for looking after our room so well. The hotel is absolutely spotless and fragrant. We loved the beautiful beach, despite the wind for a couple of days. The view was spectacular and the kite surfers were mesmerising. Food was good. Beds were comfortable.

Bliss is an amazing getaway spot!

The property is clean and comfortable with impressive views of Table Mountain. It is a 1 minute walk from a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff is warm and accommodating. The food is excellent!

The only “issue” with the property is that is far away from any of the pick-up spots for tours and a good distance from public transportation. I had to uber 20-30 minutes to meet my tours. The hotel does offer private tours, but they were not in my budget.

Magnificent place to stay in Cape Town!

Absolutely gorgeous property and the staff are amazing! You have to meet Sam and Liberty - two rays of sunshine, as are all the staff. Kudos to the chef; our dinners were delicious!

Not an issue, but be prepared to take Ubers if you don’t have a car.

The matress was very soft, the balcony tiny (one seat). Two nice terraces but not inviting to spend time there. Old & outdated furniture. Rusty railings.

Lovely small hotel in quiet location

First rate reception staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Comfortable room. Although the range of choices at breakfast was smaller than you would get in a large hotel, the food was of high quality.

Dinner In the restaurant was disappointing. Our main dish, the seafood platter, was too salty and the fish in particular was not very good. Wifi was occasionally erratic. Pity the table mountain view was slightly obstructed by railings.

The property was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in Cape Town. Our room wasn’t ready, they had to call the Manager Vanessa to confirm. She’s not one of the nicest people, the bathroom mirrors were dirty. The overall service was appalling to say the least. Breakfast is an ala carter menu with minimum options and if you add a sausage you get charged for it. I requested for the pancakes and had to pay for it.

Peace and Sunshine

The staff is so adept at making a guest comfortable. Quietly standing by, someone is always available to help with recommendations on where to go or mix up a drink and snack tray. The location directly on the beach makes it easy to head out and wander.

Awesome place we loved it.

We had an excellent stay staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach.

We couldn't use the upper deck much as stunning as the view was due to windy and cold weather it needed some sort of protective shelter in that area.

Everything, it was stunning, especially their beds and linen.

Vanessa, the GM, completely unaccommodating, she refused to let my pensioner parents eat in my breakfast as I had to rush to work. She was unfriendly, unhelpful and the place would do better without Vanessa

The view was stunning; air fresh no cars on seaview side. Breakfast was very special and very enjoyable. Beach easy to access. Lots of birds and indigenous flowers. What stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Exceptional.

A lovely spot for a few days rest next to the beach

The food was excellent. The staff so friendly. We felt looked after. Samuel welcomed us and he was lovely. Faith and Wayne (Winnie) were lovely girls. Chef was very accommodating. We walked along the beach just a short way across the dunes and could have walked for miles. Would we definitely recommend this hotel

We both felt that we would have preferred a sea view but on the plus side watching the guinea fowl from our room was amusing

Everything was perfect!

An absolute gem. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and the meals (breakfast and dinner) were out of this world. Three minute walk to the beach via private gate over the dunes and then you can walk for miles towards Milnerton or Bloubergstrand. Alternatively Ubers cheap and plentiful. Room was spacious and well furnished. Perfect hotel to spend our final few days in Cape Town, topped the whole holiday off. And the Sunsets from the balcony and restaurant - wow!

A perfect place to relax by the ocean.

Samuel greeted us with his big infectious smile and treated us with great care. The view was stunning. The staff was amazing and it was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The Chef's prepared the most delicious meals and Faith was so sweet.

A quality small hotel with beautiful staff.

The service is lovely. A team that want nothing more than for you to have a wonderful time. Being a small hotel you’re very aware of who’s looking after you. The trip into downtown Cape Town is an easy Uber ride, but you return to peace and the sound of the surf. The chef will be on standby to produce a quality meal at a sensible price.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like and would for sure stay again.

An excellent choice and real taste on all the dishes. Quite honestly running out of superlatives to describe my experiences there. All memorable.

Ultra small point. Moving the bread bin front of stage rather than having it to one side would help still sleepy guests locate it better. Took me two days to find it.

One of the best stays - compares to the best available

Clean and well laid out, lots of space, parking available, well positioned to walk to the beach, quiet surroundings and feels safe. Cooked breakfast easily the best I had in any of the many countries I have travelled to. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
