Ocean View Mini-Villa

The host welcomed us near the Koh Phangan Ferry pier in is Restaurant and brought us to the villa with his car. The same when we left the island. Very friendly and always available via whatsapp. We stayed for 2 weeks.

We went two months traveling through Southeast Asia and this was by far our favorite place to stay at. The owner Mike is very attentive and helpful and the house itself is just amazing. So spacious, so clean, beautiful beach within walking distance and complementary drinks and snacks. Also, the value for money especially on Koh Phangan and especially for the enormous place are awesome. Obviously a scooter is needed to get around (like everywhere on the island) but some restaurants and cafes are in walking distance.

Mike is an incredible host and always available to communicate. He drove us to the location and helped us get on our feet with transport immediately. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable, located only 5 min drive from town and 5 min drive to Hin Kong. The best part was the epic sunsets that can be viewed from the balcony. Not to mention access to a lovely quiet beach 2 min walk down the hill. Staff were always friendly and welcoming and the house was kept clean regularly.

The road in front of the property can get a bit noisy, especially around sunset as with people on bikes searching for the elusive Amsterdam bar around sunset time. This also provided quite a bit of humour. The pros far out weigh this fact but good to know.

Amazing place. Would have stayed longer if I could have. Beautiful sunsets on the terrace, everything is clean and brand new and in good taste. Comfortable bed (no hard Thai mattress), shower with actual hot water and good water pressure (not a given in Thailand), probably the best location one could ask for on the island.
