A lovely property very well equipped and presented. Fabia and her family are most helpful hosts. Donnalucatta is quiet and peaceful but with easy access to Scicli and Modica.

This gated and terraced apartment is extremely well designed and maintained. The large dining/sitting area with adjacent balcony overlooking the sea, is great for entertaining or leisurely breakfasts. We all loved the view and spend a lot of time on the balcony. The kitchen and dining room are well stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots, and pans. The dishwasher and washing machine were well used by us (i.e., 4 adults and a 2 year-old)! The beds are large and very comfortable. The relation of the side terrace to the apartment is not clear in the photographs; however, the entrance to the apartment is via the side terrace ,and at the back of the terrace from Via Balena is a very large, tiled parking space that is gated. At the one end of the terrace, by the parking space, is an outdoor shower which we used daily after a day at the beach. There is a grill on the terrace, which I would have liked to use but we found it a bit old and rusted. Maybe it is our Canadian hangup with large propane/gas BQs! Fabia and her family were very helpful and friendly as I found most Sicilians to be. The apartment is well situated for getting to the Donnalucata beach as well as other beaches such as Marina di Ragusa. It is a very short walk to the Donnalucata beach, however, there is the usual problem with walking by the road in Sicily, that is, there is no safe space and there is a lot of broken glass by the trash dumpsters on the one side the road. Donnalucata beach is very nice, yet it would be good if the sand was cleaned since there were a lot of cigarette butts and other things in the sand. The beach at Marina di Ragusa is very well taken care of. A wonderful place to stay; thank you Fabia!

Fabia ti accoglie con il sorriso, la gentilezza e la disponibilità di chi ti dona un regalo e ti senti subito a casa. L’accoglienza la assapori anche con i generi alimentari di prima necessità (frutta, verdura, pasta, olio, ...) e con un vassoio di dolci tipici ! Il soggiorno a casa Donna Teresa comincia da qui, prima di scoprire e sentire l’odore della pulizia perfetta in ogni angolo, di rilassarti con la disposizione degli spazi che garantisce la comodità, la funzionalità e la privacy. Interni: ampio soggiorno con cucina a vista ottimamente attrezzata e dotata di ogni necessità (oltre ogni aspettativa) con accesso alla terrazza, spaziosa e direttamente con vista mare; 2 camere molto grandi con relativo bagno. Esterno: ampio parcheggio coperto e giardino con sdraio e lettini. La dotazione è completa e di qualità, biancheria, ferro da stiro, phon, stereo, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, ombrelloni, sedie per la spiaggia e 2 biciclette; condizionatore in ciascun ambiente, TV nelle camere e nel soggiorno con collegamento satellitare decoder tivùsat e anche Sky (per questo serve la tua tessera), molti libri e riviste (comprese pubblicazioni turistiche sul territorio). La casa è appena fuori il paese che si raggiunge a piedi in pochi minuti. Tutto impeccabile, trovi tutto a disposizione e in ogni caso Fabia è riferimento per qualsiasi evenienza.
