About this house rental

Maryville is a charming 4 bedroom detached 1930's cottage with a big garden, set in the most beautiful countryside of South West Cornwall within walking distance of the beach.
We're tucked away on the outskirts of Treen village. This area of Cornwall has some of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in Cornwall and some of the most glorious beaches you're ever likely to come across. With breathtaking walks on our doorstep, it is a perfect place to visit whatever the season.

Maryville has recently been the subject of major renovations - it's a home away from home and beautifully styled. With four bedrooms, two upstairs and two down it has versatile accommodation.
The french front doors open into the open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up delicious feasts with the big dining table a perfect setting for socialising.

The elegant and cosy living room has two bay windows, a big corner sofa and comfortable restored chairs. We have a well stocked library of books and Smart tv with Sonos sound system to entertain you.

The ground floor also benefits from the comfortable master bedroom with ensuite, the bunk room along with the family bathroom and shower room.

We have a quirky and narrow, steep staircase (please see pics, they are not for everyone!) which lead to the double and twin rooms upstairs.

We're set in beautiful gardens on different levels, with apple trees and fair amount of steps. With lots of nooks and crannies it's wonderful for playing hide and seek! The garden is surrounded on two sides by National Trust land and we're in an official Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty!

Please note that our changeover day is Saturday and during school holidays and peak season we have a minimum of a week's stay. Please do ask as out of these times we can be more flexible.

We had a great stay in this property. Everything was perfect: great communication from the host, the house is very comfortable, spacious and fitted with high quality materials, outdoors are also great and only short distance from nice walks on the coast. We couldn’t ask for more - we will come back!

The cottage was in an idyllic setting very close to Logan's Rock coastal walks, a secluded beach (not sandy) and the local pub. Portchurno beach and Sennen beach are a short drive as is the Minack Theatre and Penzance. All great. Parking on the drive was very tricky for more than one car especially if you have a 4 x 4 so we got taxis which worked out really well actually. The gardens are lovely and we were blessed with glorious weather. A lovely week.

Beautiful renovated cottage with comfy beds and modern appliances. Tucked away on a hill near a stream that leafs down to Penberth Cove. Lovely location for nature walks. Bit remote in terms of shops but great to switch off and enjoy nature.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay at this charming and very spacious cottage. The home is completely updated and so cheerful and welcoming. What a wonderful place to arrive after our long drive from London. The beds were extremely comfortable and we were greeted with a very thoughtful welcoming basket with local bread, milk, eggs and goodies! (Thank you Helen!) The wifi was excellent and the entire layout worked perfect for our group. We took a lot of the advice that was emailed to us prior to our trip including our visit to the Minack Theater, the local beaches, Cape Cornwall, Levant Mine, St. Michael's Mount, etc. The walk to the beach was fun as well. We even took a few jumps on the trampoline for a little extra exercise! Truly a remarkable location if you are traveling to Cornwall. Although everything is within 10-15 miles, the time it takes to travel on the very narrow country roads makes the drive significantly longer and so we were very grateful to have a place so close to make our day trips more productive with less drive time. A great place to de-stress after driving on the narrow roads.
