Nothando Backpackers Lodge

Some places are more than just a place to stay — they make you feel at home, and this is definitely one of them! Nestled in the beautiful city of Plettenberg Bay, this hostel is truly a little piece of magic. The city itself is wonderful and feels very safe, but what makes this place so special is the incredible owner. ❤️ She is one of the kindest and most welcoming people you could ever meet. From the moment you arrive, she makes you feel like you’re part of the family rather than just another guest. She sometimes cooks and bakes delicious cakes, and she is always happy to share and offer you something with such genuine generosity. 🥹🍰 She also knows so much about the area and is always ready to give you honest advice, recommendations, and tips to help you make the most of your stay. It’s that rare kind of place where you arrive as a stranger and leave with beautiful memories and a smile on your face. If you’re planning to visit Plettenberg Bay, don’t hesitate — book this place! You won’t just find a bed for the night; you’ll find warmth, kindness, and a real home away from home. Thank you for making my stay so special. Places like this remind us that the people we meet along the way are often the most beautiful part of travelling. 🌍❤️ Highly, highly recommended! 10/10 — I would come back without a second thought!
