Friendly staff and atmosphere, single room with a/c, good location, great music selections

The traffic noise from passing trucks during day (didn’t have at night) could be a bit loud.

Friendly staff. Nice location, definitely worth it , even have a new aesthetic ice cream shop right there in the hostel. Super cozy at night

Great location, not in the middle of all the noise from bars but still only around 5 minutes walk from everything. Nice pool, staff and lots of relaxing places

I am pretty irritated by the positive reviews here. Definitely the worst matrasses I have slept on in central America. They are so run down that there is a complete hole in the mattress. I couldn't sleep at all since I prefer to sleep on the stomach which was impossible. The doors are pretty noisy and people go partying so there was always someone getting ready for bed. Adding to the 8share there is another dorm attached so sharing one bathroom with so many people is ridiculous. Food got stolen from the kitchen on day 1. There is an air conditioning but the room was hotter than outside. So the temperature was not comfortable for sleeping and of course the remote control was at reception so that we couldn't even change anything about it (estimated 28 degrees). They advertise for an air-conditioned gym. While I was there. The aircon was not working. Considering the price, this is a joke!
