The hotel is located in a very rural but peaceful location in a property which has been lovingly restored next to a pond formed by a natural spring with beautifully clear water and abundant wildlife. The staff are all genuinely lovely from Nathalie, the owner to the lovely Sandrine and Clara as well as the lovely girl who manages breakfast whose name I have sadly mislaid. It is a tranquil retreat and the restaurant was very good, the food delicious.
The external garden furniture is 'tired' and could do with replacement or renovation and the hotel is arguably, a little way off the beaten track, though this could easily be regarded as a positive as well.

The room was very nicely decorated, and the terrace was lovely. Dinner was excellent, with a good selection of wines, including some premium bottles. Breakfast was luxurious and served in a beautiful room. The scenery makes it special.

The staff were pleasant.
Room was OK but bathroom wash hand basin was blocked when we arrived and we had to wait for its repair - no apology offered. There is not a bar are for a drink before dinner other than outside - it was raining. Dinner was not acceptable. we returned our meal uneaten - no apology but were not charged.
