Beautiful location, clean and accommodating, welcoming host and almost perfect for my 10 days stay

Location was perfect, room was clean and beds comfortable.

Shower cubicle was tiny with a curtain that spent a lot of time stuck to the user. There were no chairs in the room and so you had your sit on the bed. Not awful but a little inconvenient

Comfortable stay just in seafront

The location was perfect. The prettiest part of Plakias beach just over the street. Largest supermarket and KTEL bus station across the corner. Room and towels very, veru clean, cousy green garden, very comfortable bed and small kitchenette. Staff also welcoming, even I made last minute reservation. I wish I stayed longer. Plakias is amazing.

The only little thing-after showering the bathroom floor is wet because the curtains too short. But not a problem, since everything is spotlessly clean:)

Rooms for good value

Galini Beach hotel is great value for the price you pay. The room was spacious enough, equipped with a small kitchen (we didn't use it for one night but it may be useful in case of longer stays). The atmosphere is a bit outdated, but it looks like it is a family business, which gives a somewhat cozy atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by the old owner, who was really nice. The hotel is located next to the city center and really in front of the beach. Although our room was not facing the beach, some of them are and all the rooms have a small terrace to enjoy the view. The hotel is also close by to facilities such as super market and restaurants. There is plenty of free parking in front of the hotel or at the parking lot nearby.

The bathroom was really small and the shower curtain did not completely prevent the water from flooding the floor. The beds were separate, although close to each other.

Average place

Clean place to stay next to sea.

The apartment is average, but in our opinion, not worth the price. The walls are paper-thin — you can hear everything happening in the other rooms. Staying on the ground floor, we could also hear water draining through the pipes from the apartments above. There were no blackout curtains in the room, and the shower was extremely small, with a curtain that sticks to your body. There’s a mini kitchen, but we didn’t use it. Also, the fire alarm went off late at night and early in the morning.

Maintenance clearly lacking, flush on wc stopped working & the aircon unit dripped water on the bed during the night with evidence that these problems were not new.

Spa for the soul. Genuinely good heated people. Extremely clean and nice accomodation. Perfect.

I have been to many places and different establishments, from luxury ones to hostels and very bad rooms, but this place is The Go To!!!! First thing I noticed and that helped me relax by A LOT was extreme cleanliness!!! The outside, the inside, the bathroom the kitchen, beds, everything is really really clean!!! The enterior and furniture are rustic style, full wood, all nicely and recently pained and well done! What's not to love? The colors are also very very pleasant for a relaxation mode!!! The second thing was Manolis, the host and the owner. This is a family man, with a big heart and a good soul. Anything you need he's there, ''no problem'' as he says. And I had just came from a really stressfull past few days, and stayed only two nights at his hotel, but in this really short period of time, I felt truly welcomed, and his good heartedness helped me feel much better, fast. Here, I was safe, and at home. I could relax, go back to normal and continue my journey with renewed energy. This is a place to be at, especially on a vacation. I am actually sorry that I have to leave. Even if there was no beach, the room, hotel and the kind hearted owners are enough to feel really really good. This is like a spa for the soul. I will not forget their kindess and I hope that they get it back in multiplied amounts!!!!!! Much much health and good luck to you and your family!!!!!!!!!

Very clean rooms, big enough and comfortable. Location was also nice, centrally located. The kids enjoyed the little slides and swing that was in front of the rooms. The hosts are very nice and kind people.

The owners are very kind and friendly people, ready to help about anything you might need. The place is very clean, actually never saw anything more clean in my travels by now. Extremely comfortable beds. Changing bed sheets and towels every day. Big parking for cars. Next to the beach. Possibility of breakfast at next door cafe. Strongly recommended.

Galini Beach is located in a good position in Plakias, in front of the sea, close to the markets and restaurants. The room are very clean and comfortable with a small kitchen, a fridge and a drying rack in the balcony..all you need for a perfect stay. The staff is also really kind!
