Location is great and the small apartment with the terrace was comfortable and functional

The kitchen is a bit outdated and not very well equipped (missing basics like a good knife). This upgrade would be very nice. We never met the owners/managers and when we had questions they referred us to the cleaning lady, who barely spoke English. Other than this there were no big/important issues

Very satisfied and highly recommended

Well supported self catering experience. Bathroom was stocked with shampoo, soap, TP and towels. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the property was clean and kept to a good standard. Change of bedding and complimentary water was appreciated. All in all the team at Anna apartments go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

Overpriced, run down and deceptive advertising

The photos of this property are very misleading. They’ve clearly been taken in a smart way with bright lighting to make the place look much better than it actually is. In reality, the place felt dark and deteriorated. The bedroom door couldn’t even open fully because it hit the bed. The bathroom was very old, with cracked silicone and a rusty shower seat. The rooftop pool wasn’t clean, and the wooden hammocks shown in the pictures had been replaced by hard, plastic ones without cushions, making them extremely uncomfortable. When I raised my concerns, the receptionist completely missed the point about the poor condition of the property and kept insisting that the photos reflect the “room category,” not the specific room. Even when I pointed out that my door literally couldn’t open properly, I was told I should “understand they upload the best images they have.” There were also ants in the kitchen. When I mentioned it, the receptionist just said the cleaner would fix it later, but the ants were back the next day. The owner later called and excused everything by saying it had been a long season and repairs would happen afterwards. Neither the receptionist nor the owner ever apologized or offered any solution. Overall, the property is in bad condition, overpriced, and nowhere near as advertised. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Some of the boutique hotels in the area were priced similarly, I just wished I had booked those.

Spotless clean, spatious and fully equipped modern apartments with all the amenities you need! Warm welcome and detailed instructions and tips for restaurants, beaches and places to visit were a plus! Central but quiet location and 5-10 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, supermarket and bakery.

WARNING – Avoid this place at all costs! This was by far the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. The photos and description were completely misleading – nothing matched what was shown online. The apartment was dirty, poorly maintained, and smelled terrible. Furniture was worn out, walls were stained, and the bathroom was in unacceptable condition. Even the towels looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages. The host was extremely rude, unprofessional, and downright hostile. Instead of offering help or showing any kind of hospitality, she argued, raised her voice, and acted as if guests were a nuisance. Absolutely shocking behavior for someone in the hospitality business. This entire place felt like it was deliberately designed to deceive visitors, using fake images and promises to lure people in and take their money. Once you're there, there's no refund, no support – just disappointment and stress. ‼️ Do yourself a favor and stay away. This is not just a bad apartment – it's a trap. I strongly suspect this listing should be reviewed by the platform or even local authorities. Would not recommend to anyone – not even my worst enemy.

A Comfortable Night at Plakias

We had a pleasant one night stay at Anna Plakias Apartments in Plakias on a windy day. The apartment was close to the beachfront with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and two balconies. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils to prepare your own meals. We checked-in late without any issues, as our hosts had shared information with us beforehand and our room key was ready for pick-up. Parking was easy, plenty of spots next to and around the apartments.

Beautiful property ideal for self-catering

We had a well-equpped studio and very much enjoyed our stay. The area is very windy in summer, but our balcony was positioned well so that there was just a gentle breeze there. The lady maintaining the place was lovely and friendly, and all communications before the stay were really helpful and welcoming.

The people who run these apartments have an idea for detail. The rooms and fittings are so nicely done. Lovely balconies and a feeling of calm and openness around the building. Incredible value for the price we paid in off season. The staff/manageress was very welcoming. Thoroughly recommended

The space was very comfortable and we had almost everything we needed. We enjoyed morning breakfast on the little balcony with sunshine and mountain view. A huge thank you to Mira. She was very helpful and kind.

We suggest it would be good to have just a few basic supplies for the first night and a lighter for the candles.

The apartment was what I needed in the case.

The apartment was pretty good, a bit smaller what I expected but the size was enough. It was clean everywhere, also in public areas (in staircase and on roof terrace). The village center is close as well as the Plakias beach is, so there’s no need for a car.

The location of the building wasn’t the best as the environment is somehow under development, but it was silent and peacefully area to stay.

We were tempted by the nice pictures and the pleasant architecture. We booked a stay for a week. On site it turned out that the walls of our room in many places is covered with fungus (green efflorescence and cracking bubbles of plaster), in the closets smell terrible stench of moisture - we did not risk putting our clothes there. Even the photo frames on the walls are swollen from the moisture. We could not sleep at night because of the stench. In the morning, the cleaning lady showed us the second room, but there we encountered exactly the same problems. Artemis - the owner admitted that he painted the walls 2 weeks earlier and that the winter was extremely long and wet. He also offered a room on the first floor, but because of the baby we couldn't take advantage of this offer (already at the stage of booking we wrote that we needed a room on the ground floor). We asked for a refund because it is dangerous for health to sleep in a moldy room and to hide the fact that there are problems with the room is simply cheating. Unfortunately Artemis refused to refund. We left in the morning helpless. We caution against this place. It is a scam

I was surprised to find that there was this super loud noise coming from the filter machine or whatever on the roof of the building. Wouldn't be possible to relax in the pool / on the sunbeds. Since we had the first room on the ground floor with the front door in the entrance area, the bright lights there - which went on at night, stayed on and couldn't be turned of by us - were shining through the milky window above the door which was really irritating... Kitchen area was a bit dated. Only one extremly bright and white light source in the bathroom.

Our 1 bed apartment was amazing. A great size, clean and fully equipped with an outdoor seating area/garden. The whole property is clean and well kept and the cleaning lady was so friendly and helpful. THANK YOU!!

The swimming pool was too shallow to swim (not mentioned on Booking.com & website says you can enjoy your swim in the pool), but also had a nasty taste/smell and hurt our eyes any time of day I visited. The management assured me that it was safe and normal but I have never been in a pool with such excessive amounts of chemicals (nothing to do with covid). Also the wall near the swimming pool (and some balconies) had large openings at low level that a child could easily fall through, a potential death trap as it on the roof. The pool area is great for relaxing but look out if you have young children.

Dirty room, sewage smell in the bathroom, scorpion in the room

I chose this hotel after seeing the beautiful pictures of the rooms on Booking. Unfortunately, this photos have nothing to do with the reality. At Anna Plakias I found : - dirty room with old furniture - dirty bathroom, with traces of dirt on the toilet bowl - strong smell of sewage in the bathroom, strong smell of mold in the room (too bad that the smell can not be shown in the photos) - broken insect curtain, and probably that’s why I found a scorpion in the room (I have a video with this scorpion) There is no receptionist in this hotel, there is no manager, there is only a cleaning lady who does the cleaning. She is also a receptionist - probably that's why the cleaning isn’t done properly. I paid in advance according to the hotel policy. We were forced by the context to stay one night here (after we paid in advance for 5 nights). The owner did not want to give us a refund, despite the obvious evidence of dirt. Please see the pictures below, which show the dirt in this hotel. Basically the owner lied us with beautiful and unrealistic pictures (posted on booking), he took our money in advance and that was all. We were fooled, we were stolen, we paid for a room which looks beautiful and clean in pictures, but in reality is dirty, making impossible to stay. They offered us (by phone ) another room, but we didn't want to stay in such unsanitary conditions (offered by this hotel). I think that our pictures speak for themselves.

Everything was super! Starting from Artemis and Giannis at the customer service down to the cleaning lady at the apartments, I have nothing to say. They have been amazing from the start! Great hosts, ready to help you in any way they can to make you feel at home. The apartments are great size. We had a ground floor with a great size porch/garden. Would have stayed forever! Clean, quite, comfortable and to a walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Would definetly visit again and can't actually wait to be back!

Close to the center. 400 m to the nearest tavern. Very quiet location. Roof top swimming pool, although rather small. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen unit was well equipped. The fridge was working. The windows feature moskito screens and are tiltable. Therefore I did not use the A/C because the room temperature was perfect at night time. At this time of the year it cools off at night time. Parking was available along the road side. The WIFI was working perfectly. There are plenty of electrical outlets in the appartment.

The shower entrance is awfully narrow. There is 35 cm available to get into the shower.
