La Flor De Al-Andalus

I booked a single room for €38 on a weekend. I was surprised to find a decent-sized room with a spacious and comfortable full-sized bed (good mattress and good pillows). The room also had a safe, refrigerator, TV, desk, shelves and space to hang clothes, hair dryer, and luggage rack. The accommodation itself does not have a staffed reception desk, but they work with a hotel around the corner where the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they also have free lockers where I was able to safely store my luggage until check-in time while I explored the city. La Flor de Al Andalus offered everything I needed at a very affordable price.

Nothing, everything was good, but be careful if you take the stairs. I took the elevator up to my room on the second floor because I had heavy luggage. When I went out for breakfast the next day, I took the stairs. They are marble and VERY SLIPPERY. I slipped with the back of my sneakers and fell hard down a flight of stairs.

It was comfortable, clean and totally adequate for one person for one night passing through Merida. Staff were helpful. Central location.

Room was quite small facing on to main street, though quiet with windows closed with window open there was a little more noise from outside but I slept well. Booking in was around the corner in another hotel.

Good location, convenient checkin, accommodations were good.
