Hanoi Morning Hotel

The rooms we had at levels 7 and 8 both had a nice view of the lake and the decor was charming. The rooftop dining room enclosed with floor length glass/windows and old world decor was charming and offered a glorious view. Breakfast range while small was nice and the cook was very hospitable and offered some different dishes each day. She was also very sweet and helpful, packing takeaway breakfast on our last day for our road trip. She made us all felt very looked after like an aunt. She is like one of those people with a slightly stern facade but a very caring warm heart.

Great location near lots of shops, sights and food and incredible views with buffet breakfast. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Bed was comfortable and water was warm too I would definitely come back!

Lift doesn’t operate up to Level 9 so you have to walk up one flight to the top floor. Our bags weren’t heavy so this wasn’t a problem for us at all

The hotel needs a lot of updating and refurbishing. There was no mirror outside the bathroom for making up. The air conditioner leaked, and there was a lot of condensation on the wall. The balcony was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. The bathroom shower cubicle leaked if the drain plug was not taken out, which was hard to do. Breakfast was good, but limited and did not vary, so it became a little boring after the 2nd day. The staff, though nice, could spend less time scrolling on their phones, and more addressing the issues with the hotel, including some clocks missing from the reception, and others showing incorrect times (as an example!).
