This exquisite hotel was once a medieval church overlooking the picturesque Danube River, so for this medieval history buff, it’s origins and the attention to detail to highlight that history was a beautiful added extra to a comfortable, pristine and luxurious hotel.
The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and ensure my stay was to the highest standard, so having travelled from Victoria, Australia specifically to revisit this gorgeous town after having been here for a few hours while on a river cruise back in 2009, my two night stay was everything I had dreamed it would be.

Breakfast was amazing! Great offering of food and the breakfast dining room was so lovely. The pool and outdoor garden were perfect! Just what we needed for a summer stay with kids.

The hotels character/ambience was very nice. Sitting in the historic area right on the the river. Wonderful garden and swimming pool! Breakfast with some of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Europe!
The rooms were pretty small and very dated
