On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all we needed, although a few more coffee pods would have been appreciated. The apartment is in a great location with lots of eating options in easy walking distance. It was great to have free parking.

I’ve often thought that people renting properties should at least live there for a few days to know what the experience is like. This is one of those occasions. The air conditioner in the living room didn’t work – no cooling and just blew air. The bedroom had no curtains (although it must have at one stage) making the room very light at nighttime. The Internet connection worked – sometimes. I had to tighten the nuts securing the tap handles. The clock ticking in the kitchen was so loud we could hear it in the bedroom. The ceiling fan in the bedroom only worked on settings 1 and 3, not 2. The sliding screen door to the balcony needs some work. There was no key to the security door, so we couldn’t lock it and leave the main door open to let air flow. The pool doesn’t look that inviting with what looks like black algae around the tiles. I didn’t see anyone using it during our stay.
