Loved the views and the different outdoor places and being able to find shady spots to relax. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were particularly comfortable. Our host had been extremely generous in the range of supplies provided for making food and drink at the start of our holiday. We felt very well looked after by the owner's aunt/next door neighbour. All great.
We found the shower, being only handheld, a little awkward but it is a very minor thing. The access road is a very sharp turn (these seem common in Crete) but tricky with a larger car. So, it is worth reviewing your route on Google street view, particularly if you will be arriving in the dark.

Une maison charmante, confortable, un cadre magnifique, un jardin fleuri au calme, une bonne taverne à deux pas, Aptera une cité antique à découvrir, et surtout des hôtes très attentionnés.
