The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, and the villas, while showing their age, are well maintained and clean. Overall, it's a decent property with friendly staff, but customer service and the inconsistency between villas prevent me from recommending it wholeheartedly.

The view is a lottery: some villas face another building overlooking the pool, which significantly reduces the feeling of privacy. If this matters to you, be aware that the hotel is unwilling to guarantee a specific villa, even when availability could likely be checked in advance. The gym has good equipment, but it is dark and smells strongly of humidity, making it quite unpleasant to use. My biggest disappointment was how my request was handled after my stay. I simply asked whether I could return to the same villa because of the better view. Instead of trying to find a solution or checking with the manager, I was basically told that if I wasn't happy, I could stay somewhere else because they "don't need any drama". That response was surprisingly unprofessional and not customer-oriented.
