Nice apartment in historical Italian building

Nice apartment in historical building in 1 min walking distance from Lago di Como and main square of Cernobbio! Host was very nice and explained everything regarding must visit places etc If I come back, I will book this wonderful place again :)

Only thing we missed was washing machine but host kindly explained where to find coin washing machine which was close to supermarket and grocery shop, therefore in convenient distance.

Really enjoyable stay in a lovely apartment

The location is ideal. Its so close to lots of shops, cafes, restaurants... Its a very spacious apartment and the kitchen is quite modern. The windows are very sound proof, we had no issues with noise. The host Cristina is very helpful and booked transfers for us to/from the airport.

The property description mentioned there was a dishwasher but there wasn't. This wasn't a huge problem but it shouldn't be advertised in the description if its not actually there. The stairs are quite difficult with a pram, although it's not impossible and I'd probably stay there again regardless, but it definitely wasn't easy lugging it up and down the stairs a few times a day.

It was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed Como Lake area.

Property was close to shopping, ferry, and restaurants. it had a lot of charm and plenty of space. It was right on Main Street but not much noise or activity. Air conditioners worked well and there was plenty of hot water for showers. kitchen had basic supplies. check-in was easy as we were met at the property.

The property is actually 4 flights up, so be prepared to lug up the luggage. The freezer was frozen solid, it seems the door doesn’t close completely because of the cabinetry and we alerted the owner. It is also important to note that you must turn off the air conditioners if you want to use the oven, we popped the circuit breaker but my husband was able t reset in the basement. Also, the bedroom doors have full glass so there is no real privacy. The queen bed is beautiful, but even the slightest movement causes it to really squeak. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

location was good near bus stop & near lake

we have keep windows shut to avoid noise from road traffic & with bags it’s difficult as it was on third floor with no lift .

Perfect spot for a family in Cernobbio

Appartment is exactly what we needed for the family, perfect beaufitul location-quite easy to go to Como from here-, very well distributed (living room is huge!) and more than anything the hosts are incredibly helpful and super fast responsive, contacted them three times (for minor things and questions) and in a matter of minutes all was solved. Definitely a place to be back in Cernobbio.

There is not elevator, if you come with several suitcases like us this can be a bit challenging but still very manageable.

Parking was closed due to flooding. Keep in mind you have to climb some stairs to reach the apartment (for us not a problem)

Great location, beautiful area, and really nice apartment.

The location was brilliant!

Parking the rental car was a bit difficult, as parking in that area isn't very good and we found ourselves driving round quite a lot looking for a park.
