About this apartment rental
Quiet street in the very heart of London just behind Oxford Street, this splendid, homely, well equipped duplex apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 to 5. The apartment is just 2 minutes from the new Elizabeth Line (Tottenham Court Road, western Dean St. exit) which has a direct service (c. 40 minutes) from Heathrow.
Very spacious home with high ceilings in a traditional privately owned central London mansion block. Close to the London Edition 5* Hotel (George Cloony's favourite), the apartment has a large living/dining room (complete with a beautiful Steinway piano for those inclined to play), Bose sound systems, separate and well equipped kitchen, hairdryer, one king-size bed, one double bed. Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, toiletries, tea, coffee etc. provided free of charge. A travel cot is also available.
The living areas are on the ground floor. There is a staircase to the lower ground floor, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located. The bedrooms are very quiet with large windows; there is nobody else living above them and the windows are triple and secondary glazed.

This lovely two-level flat exceeded all of our expectations. With soaring ceilings, tall windows, attractive and comfortable furnishings, a splendid piano, excellent kitchen, wonderful beds in spacious rooms, two large and well-appointed bathrooms (one is en suite), we were just delighted. My best friend and I were celebrating a milestone work transition in her life, and this very quiet and attractive apartment was a roomy home away from home for our London adventures. (She was particularly delighted--she is an amateur concert pianist, and enjoyed the piano.) The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining table that seats six was the site of lovely breakfasts. Justin was an excellent communicator, prompt and friendly from the beginning. His information and instructions were always clear, and we were lucky to meet and talk with his delightful housekeeper as we arrived from the airport (before check-in time, which was very much appreciated). The area has plenty of restaurants and a couple of grocery stores, and we walked everywhere (all over London) that we wanted to go. Others have commented that the wooden spiral staircase is a challenge, but I found it charming once I got used to it. I will look forward to staying here again, and would recommend it for anyone who wants a lovely, quiet, and centrally located place to stay in London.

What a spectacular place! Every amenity we could have wanted, superb check in and assistance and close to everything. Our party of four, two adult couples 50 had a wonderful time. The listing was terrific - but the place was even better than we imagined. Take the host seriously regarding the steps to the bedrooms and lab, they are tight and windy but perfectly manageable with lots of light. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Everything about this experience was perfect, from beginning to end. This flat is safe, comfortable and quiet. Centrally located and easy to get to anywhere in London. Tube stations are so close, along with multiple restaurants. Justin checked in with us often and Jenny gave us so many great tips to make our trip memorable.
