I like it

We spend here one night. Very convenient location, beach a hundred meters away, shop nearby, laundry also nearby. Next to the road, but the rooms are in the inner courtyard, so you don't hear anything at all, it's quiet. The room was tidy, there was a kitchenette with the necessary things. There is air conditioning. The staff is very, very nice. Prices and quality are very good. Wifi is good. Offers transportation services and excursions, such as snorkeling and the like. I recommend it

We didn't find the entrance right away, perhaps we would have liked clearer directions or an arrow showing where to enter. But we asked the locals - and they directed us. Was given a thin blanket, I wanted a normal one.

Room was really clean and comfortable. Very spacious and extremely good value for money. Jerry was so lovely and very helpful as we needed documents printed, he did it no problem. Location is really good, close to plenty of good restaurants as well as many day markets

Short duration stay

Location was on main road. Electricity issues were there but owner was courteous enough to provide logical explanation for electricity issues. Room was clean and specious.

Hot water was not available at our time. May be we were checking out very early and hot water around 7am could not be possible.

Great location. And staff were nice. The bed was comfortable

The bathroom flooded everytime you used the shower. The bed had evidence of bed bugs and stained linen. There was no hot water and only got 1 hot shower in entire stay. The aircon unit doesn’t work properly and drips into the room. Had to pay $400k just to stay a few more hours even though no one else checking in. A lot of mould in bathroom round seals

It's a lot of construction work going on around the place but I think it's a common problem almost everywhere . New buildings getting built everywhere .

There was some mould in my room which I just chose to ignore as I was only there for 2 days however this could affect some people’s stay if longer. The pool also didn’t seem the cleanest so I didn’t go for a swim.

Perfect location and lovely staff

I liked how nice the staff were and the location of it too. It was at the top of the main road so you could walk everywhere or gojek so easily. The room was simple but had all you needed for the stay. Great pool too!

I enjoyed swimming in the pool, each morning.

The spacious room by the swimming pool. Comfortable bed. Convenient location: close to good coffee shops (e.g., Analog, Mammas), restaurants (Local Warung)

No HOT water during my whole stay!!! The room was not cleaned properly, especially the floor (under the sink and desk). Stained, not clean drapes. Old and very used pillows. Filthy entry door. The area around the swimming pool could be cleaned more properly than just sweeping.

Super comfortable stay at Gatsby Hotel!

Great little hotel/hostel with private rooms and outdoor swimming pool on the main street but without the excessive noise. Loved our 4 nights stay here! We had room with balcony and overlooking the swimming pool which was fantastic! Nice and clean room with mini fridge and hot water! Yeeey! Staff were really nice, water dispenser available for refill, free of charge! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We absolutely loved staying here!

Great value for money!

From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and super helpful with anything we needed! The room was comfortable, clean & spacious and even though the hotel was fully booked, each time we used the common areas (pool table, games area, swimming pool, etc) we had them all to ourself which was nice. There is also lots of really good restraunts within a few hundred meter walk which was handy!

There isn’t anything I can really fault about the property other then our bathroom floor would flood a little from the shower not draining properly however was very minor and not a big issue!

I had a wonderful stay at the Gatsby Hotel! The staff were truly exceptional—so helpful, kind, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. The location couldn’t be better, just steps away from Main Street, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back!

Really nice stay in the heart of Uluwatu

Really nice room directly next to the beautiful pool area, we had the pool completely to us most of the time, great location directly next to several cafes and close to the main part of uluwatu :)

The room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly, we rented mopeds from here for a very good price! The pool was so clean and had the sun on it for most of the day. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend!

I was there for one night but so far nothing.

I thought the rooms needed some maintenance. Repaint, clean bathroom, toilet was filthy. I felt very on edge. The pool and chill zone was also average.

Depends what you’re looking for…

The room was lovely, and the soft bedside lighting at night made it cozy. Lots of greenery out the window onto the small balcony. The staff were always polite and accommodated my request to stay an extra few nights. Free water machine to refill bottles was handy. For the general area nowadays, the price per night was reasonable.

My room was on the side of the building closest to the street, which was incredibly loud at all times of day and night. For those who want something quiet…be aware that Jl Labuansait is an absolute mess of tourists and motorbikes, and more construction and development is underway. My shower drain was clogged upon arrival, and not fixed for the duration of my stay although requested (perhaps the staff tried, but the issue wasn’t resolved). I rented a motorbike from Gatsby that was on empty so needed to refill the tank immediately.

The bed is super comfortable, shower is separate so not everything will be wet, the room is cosy and clean. The location is spot on in the middle of everything and the shared pool is great to chill on a hot day.

It feels safe and has good atmosphere. I love it!! I wish i should’ve stayed longer than 3 nights. Jerry, the manager, was very accommodating. will def come back here!
