The view, which is the reason we booked this property, was outstanding and definitely does not disappoint. The terrace is large with plenty of space for a table plus two loungers as well as an outdoors sofa. Despite other reviews, we found the beds to be very comfortable. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the oven looked new ( a previous review refers to being unable to read the dials - so I think it had been replaced). All worked very well. The bathroom was clean enough - it is old and is a coloured suite which has got stained but it is not dirty. It worked fine for us. Also, the curtains in the bedroom area did block out the light ( again, another review suggests not) so they must also have been replaced. The location was great - incredibly easy to get to the loveliest beach and very quick to get into the centre of the village. Plenty of little supermarkets nearby to stock up on fruit and veg etc. We were able to check in an hour early which was lucky as we arrived in the village at 6 am after an overnight flight!

The property was pretty much as we expected. We knew about the steep stairs ( and they are steep) but it was fine with no children. We knew about the bathroom - so no surprises there. The WiFi was ‘ok’ … didn’t really reach the end of the terrace but no big deal. The place , for the price, is maybe a tad tired and could do with a few extras ( would be good to add a screen of some sort plus a wifi booster). One of the loungers had some slats missing but was still useable for now. We found the ladies who live right next door quite noisy / they seem to operate some sort of laundry business and sing very loudly for a lot of the day. At first, it was slightly endearing, but after a week, started to grate a little! We had an absolutely massive storm on our penultimate night and I guess we thought we might receive some sort of courtesy check in message from the owners to check that we, or at least the property, was ok ( the storms were on the news, so I do mean huge storm!) but there was nothing. Having stayed previously in a place elsewhere abroad which became flooded, and experienced the owners there giving us advice beforehand and during/afterwards. It’s things like that which can make quite a difference to the impression left.

La terrasse est exceptionnelle : vue magnifique sur l'Acropole et le village. Terrasse bien exposée ( en partie couverte) Logement bien situé dans le village ( proximité plage et parking). Endroit calme.

Literie peu confortable. Salle de bain vétuste. Escalier raide pour aller a l'étage.

It was an overall nice place for the price with good location but the electricity seemed a bit dangerous at some point, toaster for example which we didn't end up using. Old facilities, table was broken, as well as the toilet, we had to fix it with a plumber. Hair in the bathtub, it was not as clean as we expected plus some very hot water was running continually from the bathtub tap so beware not to burn yourself. Stairs were quite steep. In the bedrooms curtains are very light so it became very bright early morning.
