8/10 would do again

Perfect for what we had in mind. Attending a Weekend event for Airsoft. Needed a place to sleep and shower. Perfect for what we needed it for. Value/Money ratio is on Spot. Will definitely book again next time we go there.

You need a car to go to a Restaurant. There is a Bakery across the street and thats it. The next Restaurants are about a 5min Drive away. If you dont make a Reservation on the weekend its more like a 15min Drive.

Garden with chairs, tables, BBQ, fire pit, place to run around, etc Very welcoming staff Basic rooms but clean, shared but individual hot showers and toilets. Kitchen with fridge, microwavd, cutlery, local beer and wine, coffee

Extremely noisy, bad price/quality ratio, but fine otherwise.

The location is beautiful (but do be sure to check hunting dates if you go in autumn). The beds are fine? There’s a good baker down the street.

I can’t overstate how much this building conducts noise. Every door opened or closed anywhere reverberates straight into your bones. I woke up in the middle of the night from door noises several times - and I had the ground floor to myself! There were fellow guests hanging out in the common room down the hall, and while they weren’t even being especially loud, I could hear them as if I was right there with them. The road outside provides noise too, though not as badly. A lot of streetlight shines over the top of the curtain, neccesitating a sleep mask. Considering the price, it’s not great.

no-nonsense lodging. Nothing fancy, but everything you need and very clean

the beds in our rooms made very loud cracking sound s as soon as someone turned and waking us up at night

Pleasant

It was a light and spacious room. The hostel was quiet as there was almost nobody else.

There was no staff to explain anything. There were no towels, nor soap or other bathroom facilities. The common room was plain (no couches, small, just a few tables to sit on). You had to pay for coffee and tea. For a €70 room, I did expect things like towels and coffee/tea to be provided.

Nice place

Nice firm beds, big garden where you can relax, easy parking, good showers, friendly staff, nice beers, bakery across the street, helpful tourist office across the street, nice hiking and mountainbike routes.

Wifi limited to communal room, 2 out of 3 nights I was the only guest, which was a bit boring, but then again i was travelling in september. Was nice to have the dorm to myself though.

The location itself was located in a very nice place.

Dirty kitchen, dirty floor, wash laying in the hallway, garden was messy. In general it looks like nobody cared to tidy up the place a bit.

Clean, niet duur en in orde. Fijne babbel in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte.

Onpersoonlijk. Letterlijk dan want er is geen personeel. Beperkte gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Niet te vergelijken met andere youth hostels die ik al deed in Wallonië.

Het verblijf was minder prettig door een sterke geur in de kamer en wat geluidsoverlast.

Ik vond het erg leuk dat de persoon die voor de dieren op de boerderij zorgt ons de kippen en konijnen liet zien en de kinderen ze mocht laten aaien. Dat was erg aangenaam.

Het verblijf was helaas niet zo comfortabel als gehoopt. Er was een sterke geur uit het toilet en de douche, waardoor het moeilijk was om in de kamer te slapen. De muren hebben nieuwe tegels, maar er was wat stof en spinnenwebben bij de lamp. De wc-bril zag er niet schoon uit en de geur was vrij sterk. De douche werkte met een knop die steeds opnieuw ingedrukt moest worden, wat het lastig maakte om rustig te douchen. De geur in de kamer bleef aanwezig, ook met open ramen. De kamer lag aan een drukke weg, waardoor er verkeersgeluid en licht van auto's binnenkwam. De ventilatie maakte veel geluid en het rode lampje van de rookmelder knipperde constant boven het bed. Helaas kreeg ik er hoofdpijn van.

Sehr gute Unterkunft für 1 Nacht

Jugendherberge liegt sehr schön in der Natur . Hab ohne Frühstück gebucht . Habe im 8-Betten Zimmer gebucht . Upgrade bekommen für 2-Bett Zimmer . Liegt an der Straße , aber wenn Fenster geschlossen , dann keine Geräusche. Gegenüber ein nettes kleines Restaurant und Lebensmittelgeschäft ! Ab 7:00 geöffnet, auch Sonntag !!!

Alles war zu meiner Zufriedenheit. Ohne Personal , nur im Notfall erreichbar . Aber war ja alles ok 😁👍

Zeer mooie accomodatie met al de nodige faciliteiten.

Mooi gebouw met de nodige faciliteiten. Fijne en ruime tuin. Het was er overal netjes en proper. Vriendelijk personeel.

Er was een groep mensen van Brakel die heel veel lawaai maakte, in de ochtend en ook 's nachts. Ze dachten precies dat ze alleen waren in het gebouw. Tot 1u 's nachts heel veel lawaai! Dit is niet de plaats voor zo een verblijf denk ik. Er waren ook kleine kinderen aanwezig in de hostel. Maar er werd met niets rekening gehouden enkel met hunzelf. Maar daar kan de hostel zelf natuurlijk niet aan doen.
