Rodizio Hill Resort

The hotel itself is set in a lovely location, with lovely views of the town below. It has one communal lounge area, and a bar/reception/restaurant, and outside patio areas. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean, with a lovely bathroom, and lots of hot water. The restaurant food, service and staff were very good. We had a lovely dinner, and an excellent breakfast, with personally cooked omelet by the waitress.

Unfortunately, the bedroom did not have any tea or coffee making facilities, which when you have been travelling all day, is one thing you like to have. For us (a purely personal thing) the bed in our room was far too low, and set at an awkward angle to the window, which made it difficult to get along one side of the bed next to the window. We also struggled to find the entrance to the hotel from the car park. There is no entrance sign, no reception sign, and no way to show how to enter from the car park. We walked all around the outside wall looking for a way in, and had to wait at a gap in the wall next to the car park, until we saw someone who looked like staff to ask. Apparently, the entrance was from the car park, through a patio area, and you entered the building by going right into the function room (amongst the dancers) with your cases to the reception, which is part of the restaurant area. It would be easier for guests if there were clearer signs from the car park, but other than these two things, it is a lovely hotel.

The breakfast was super.

I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room,because over the night I like to drink cold water or Juice,Cola etc, and I don't like them at room temperature.

Staff was nice and the room was great.

Heating of the room was rubbish as only an electric heater was provided. It was freezing at night.
