First room 3rd floor had something loose maybe on roof but it was banging all night we moved rooms to one much better apart from what sounded like a dying sea lion at 8 in the morning .I presume it was the pipes lol but they didn't sound healthy.

Not good this time

Been here before this time given basement floor-1 radiator in room Didn’t work thought it would be on once we returned to our room room So cold no radiator no control knob had to open bathroom door and let the radiator rail towel type heat uo and try warm the room In basement T noise kept us awake from1230 pm til 7 am foot steps all of us had a broken sleep left and complained all tired. Went to reception but was closed regarding how cold the room Was Snd no radiator had come on not hapoy this time

I liked the views bars restaurant the entertainment was pub singer level but it was ok

Radiator in room 3 couldn't switch on because valve was located in a wardrobe but even when I flu d kit had no radiator so on it to turn. The hot tap didn't didn't fully switch off. Nothing to do with me but a waste of energy. I would have reported these at checkout but my wife did it as I loaded the car. The bathroom was very small when I book again I will have a room upgrade

Great hotel to stay in for exploring Blackpool

Hotel is in a great location with all attractions near by. Great view from room of the seafront. Comfortable rooms and a good working shower. Having the Parking available for an additional cost took the stress out of trying to find somewhere else to park. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the food looked good.

The hotel gets a little noisy at night and the rooms were a bit too warm for us. There were people smoking on the steps leading up to the hotel every time we came in and left which was a bit off putting having to walk through the smoke. Apart from that I can’t complain because everything else was great!

The rooms need a little updating, I have a colostomy and my bathroom was very small, also I think the entertainment needs to cater for all ages and not just the elderly clients. Also the noise at night made it impossible for me to sleep

Hotel good position access for disabled very restricted especially if using walking sticks or hazard

Breakfast was fine but we also had dinner and that was below par veg not preped or cooked properly sauce should have been optional. The room was supposed to be bigger than a std double but instead just squeezed a single bed in as well not what I expected for the extra price so cramped that to get to big window had to climb over single bed and wardrobe was not usable as doors would not open because of bed being up to them very poor layout..

Very unhappy with room, behind stage & next to smoking shelter.

I've stayed at this hotel before, the overall hotel is pleasant and i enjoyed my previous stay but my recent stay, this halloween for 2 days, was unfortunately not a enjoyable experience. The breakfast & evening meal was pleasant although it was like musical tables trying to find where you are sitting each time and at most sittings someone else was sat at our table and we had to be moved. Some of the cutlery was unclean, we had to ask for replacements but the staff were accommodating. Enjoy the choice of 2 entertainment rooms which have different atmospheres and if you enjoy an act, you have the option to move to the other room to see again. The entertainment was ok but was better on my previous visit. Understand it is hard to keep all ages happy but with being 3 acts should be able to accommodate for all.

The room provided was awful. On our previous stay we stayed in family room on 1st floor, it was spacious & pleasant, not much noise and we enjoyed our stay, we even recommended the hotel to family members. This time we booked a family room for myself, my mother in law who is in her 70's & my young daughter. This time the room was in a small dark area behind the stage, not pleasant or welcoming, with only 2 other rooms, one being the artist changing room & another room. Based on our previous room at this hotel plus our stays at 3-4 other hotels in Blackpool, definitely not big enough for family room. The main complaint about this room was the noise which was horrific! Who decided to put a family room behind the stage and next to a smoking shelter outside?! This room should be advertised correctly mentioning the noise levels, it can then be booked by people who enjoy the late nights and want to stay up and enjoy the entertainment until early hours each night and will not be disturbed by the noise levels, not used for a family room at the cost of £345 for 2 terrible sleepless nights. My mother in law & daughter were tired around 23:00 - 23:30 hrs but we could not settle or sleep with live music blasting and vibrations through the walls & floor, it actually felt like the entertainment was in our room and didn't end until early hours of the morning. The worst part was that our room was right next to the hotel smoking shelter, we couldn't open the window due to the smoke coming in the room plus the shouting, swearing & even arguing until around 2am-3am was disgusting. My daughter & mother in law were very upset and we had to keep the tv on loud to try and drown out the noise of the music & people smoking. Again why a family room has been placed in this area baffles me. We all arrived home shattered & needing an early night!

Disappointing stay.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff are brilliant, very welcoming. Location is great.

Roof leaked in the night and was actively dripping by the time it woke my daughter up about 6am. Dripped onto the floor but also my daughters bed covers as they must have been under it at points in the night when she moved. Fire alarm woke us up at 11.30pm. No staff to be seen. No instructions to guests were given. People running past me and my daughter in the stairwell to get to their family members. Everyone made their way to the exit but when the alarm switched off, everyone immediately came back in declaring it was fine. Again, I saw no staff give this instruction, just fellow guests. No fire brigade came to check. Felt very 'every guest for themselves'. Stayed awake for hours after this to make sure it wasn't a false alarm and because I find it hard to return to sleep. No staff acknowledged the alarm so still don't know what caused it. Smokers congregate around the entrance ways so it constantly stinks of cigarettes on entry and exit. Very pricey bar. 1 diet coke, 1 chocolate bar and 1 bottle of fruit cider was £9.30. 4 cans of water came to £6.80! Disappointed in our stay this time and have requested a refund for the leaking roof and the badly managed fire alarm situation.

Booked this holiday early in the year so that we could get a ground floor bedroom. I explained to them that my husband was disabled and that he would struggle with stairs. When I rang up, they said we were on the ground floor. On arrival, we were told that we were on the first floor and had to go down two flights of steps up a lift and then up another flight of steps. Got a very small room that needs updating. Needless to say, it was not a very enjoyable break. Would not come back.

The room I originally booked was a double sea view. The one I was allocated was on third floor and was very small and the bathroom was the size of a cupboard. After talking to receptionists I was able to change to a triple room for the last 2 days of our stay, which was lovely.

Wet, Dirty Towels STILL left in the Shower Base upon our return to the hotel in the evening! I Reported my find to one of Lyndene's Colleagues, who Did bring Clean Towels etc; As a Family, we've been going to the Lyndene Hotel for MANY YEARS, No Problems at all when Barry & His Family ran the hotel!
