The room itself was very nice, spacious and the A/C worked GREAT, which was really important to us. The hotel is very pretty and appears to be well-maintained. The front desk staff were probably my favorite; they went above and beyond, smiling and happy to help with literally anything. The pool area was small but pretty.
The location wasn't great. I knew the proximity to the ocean/beach but the neighborhood felt run down although we never felt unsafe. The main street location with our room facing outward meant we heard every loud truck and motorcycle that passed all night. The free breakfast was 'ok'. It was a choice of generic plate options and no ability to request changes. Eggs and rice or rice and eggs eggs and avocado. We ended up eating the cold cereal option most days. But it was free so it wasnt a huge deal.
