Villa Mumare

We all loved the gardens and swimming pool. Location.

The air conditioning didn’t work first night. The kitchen air con unit continually leaked despite me phoning the management company a few times. Person did come out but was unable to fix. Promised a person would be out following day but didn’t come. Double bed in downstairs bedroom - headboard fell off and couldn’t be refitted to wall. Sunbeds - some were broken, uncomfortable and needed cleaned b4 use.

The accommodation was much larger than we expected and was perfect for the 11 of us. We used all 6 bedrooms, mixture of twins and doubles and an annex bedroom with ensuite which was great. The weather was a little cool but was able to follow the sun around as there were plenty of terraces and tables. We didn't use the heating or air con but used the extra blankets at night time. Esmeralda beach is closest and there is a short cut to it instead of walking around the road, few steps down though so you'll need to carry kids buggy etc. Villa was great for us, good kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, plenty of sun loungers, few mins to bars and restaurants.

The property itself was lovely but I think due to current situations, the property hadn’t been checked thoroughly before we arrived. Several of the plug sockets either didn’t work or only charged smaller items ie phones but not fans. The agency were extremely helpful with any issues we had ie jet washing the bird poo that had accumulated around the property but this is what should have been addressed before we arrived. Also the pump which is situated right next to the outside master bedroom is extremely noisy until late (midnights or later). Also the a/c wasn’t working in all the rooms when we arrived. As I said small issues but addressed quickly enough. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

New furniture maybe and sort all the keys so you know which key opens which door (label).
