8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Excellent breakfast and spotless accommodation. Unfortunately The Old Bridge House was across the bridge from the main facilities in Looe which was a problem as my husband has trouble walking. I should have done more research!
Only that we were too far from the town itself. We would also have appreciated a couple of chairs in our room so that we could remain inside and enjoy the view, but the bedroom was very small. However there was an excellent small sitting room downstairs with a view.

Friendly host, brilliant location, freshly cooked breakfast
Nothing really! However you should be aware that the property dates back a long way and is set on a hillside so inevitably room size is going to be restricted and you will have slopes and steps to contend with. If you are old with dodgy knees may not be for you.

Breakfast was amazing. No need to eat for the rest of the day.🫣. Room/bathroom rather small but for a short vacations was adequate for us. Our hosts Liz and Colin were lovely and full of helpful information. Added bonus for us was having an allocated parking space.
