Town House Prainha T2 - Beach house, A / C

This is a great 2 bedroom property in Prainha Village and has everything you need to feel at home there. There is a communal pool to share with other houses about 30 second walk from this home, but the pool is not heated and may be cold outside the summer months. The resort itself feels like a self contained village with a shop, restaurants, private beach (accessed through the cliffs by a lift) and beautiful coastal scenery all around. It's about 30 min walk to Alvor town center or you can take a taxi where there are plenty of good quality restaurants. The beach is about a 8-minute walk through the 'village' and there is a bar/snack bar there so you can eat and drink without needing to leave the beach area. This home is fully equipped with everything you need if you wish to cook for yourself rather than go out. The only down side is that if you have kids who like TV, there is only one very small (19") TV in the living room. Both bedrooms are en-suite and have air conditioning in every room and the wifi is free and fast. There is a small kids playpark directly opposite the front door and a small patio/garden with BBQ at rear but you will only get the sunshine for certain parts of the day here. There are 2 bicycles in the garden for your use but unfortunately had punctures when we visited so we could not use them. The owner, Carolina, was very helpful and great to deal with. She checked in with us over email a few times during our 2 weeks stay to make sure all was OK and organized a cleaner to visit half way through which was a nice surprise. Overall, I would recommend this place if you like a quieter, more relaxed pace of life.
