About this house rental
From our modern, well-kept holiday home "Casa Prainha" it is only a 5 minute walk through the quiet and child-friendly resort to the fine sandy Algarve beaches with impressive rock formations. There are also 3 beautifully designed swimming pools (open from the beginning of April to the end of October) in our guarded resort. One of them is just around the corner, but not within earshot. The fantastic Atlantic pool with sea view in a terraced complex with beach bar is only a five minute walk away. Our holiday home has a small, sheltered garden with a well-kept terrace, sturdy garden furniture and a modern concrete barbecue fireplace (since February 2003) with a large stainless steel grate. We have equipped and maintained it with love and understanding to provide you a perfect holiday home: cosy sitting area with Smart TV, cable TV with 150 channels, WLAN (1000/200), dining area, well-equipped kitchen with lots of table and kitchenware and high-quality household appliances as well as children's high chair and bed. Upstairs are two suites with spacious built-in wardrobes and modern bathrooms. The resort has a small supermarket, a pizzeria (both open from the beginning of April to the end of October), a fine restaurant with sea view and nearby beach restaurants.
Sports: The resort has 1 padel court and 2 tennis courts, 1 multifunctional sports court, a large lawn field with volleyball net, 1 adventure children's playground with large trampoline and 1 children's playground for toddlers.

A fabulous location being a 5-minute walk to Tres Irmaoes Beach. Thank you for the water in the fridge and welcome bottle of wine.It would have been nice to know that EVERYTHING is closed until a week before Easter. We arrived using private transport and going to the store was a bit inconvenient. We were told that when we ran out of the 3 toilet rolls we were supposed to provide our own. I have never run into that concern in any VRBO rental previously. The unit was very cold upon arrival. It would have been nice to have it warmed up as it seemed the place had been unoccupied for some time. Windows are hard to open on upper floor right bedroom. Heater controls weren’t working appropriately and batteries were rusted . Also, after traveling all day , I was disappointed that sheets were stacked on bed and left as such for beds to be made by us. Never had to experience that too! It was really nice to have a washing machine, however, hard to dry clothes outside in March as it was still cool. Towels were threadbare and very coarse. One of the things we really enjoyed were the restaurants right off the beach and minutes away from the village. The kitchen appeared well stocked but we didn’t cook on our stay. Small espresso machine nice but we only had 4 pods for a Two person 4 night stay. Again, without transportation it was difficult to shop for minimal supplies. We were not prepared for a stay that is isolated without Prainha stores and or restaurants being opened.
