This small boutique hotel was recommended by our daughter who had stayed there. What a recommendation everything with the hotel was outstanding. The main bonus were the staff who were polite, professional and so helpful, even down to the evening security gentleman. The facilities were excellent specially the pool which was very welcome on hot days.

Super clean and comfortable room. Location is spot on! Security guard at night at the gate is much appreciated.
Needed a table or desk in the room. The grass around the swimming pool were long which made the area look "untidy".

First accommodation in SA that doesn’t have decaf coffee .Also would benefit from free water and selection of spirits in mini bar

The actual property, room and gardens were lovely.
The management front of house really let it down. To them it's a 9-5 job with no hospitality or soul. In the morning she was totally uninterested in us, her guests.
We arrived before 5.30pm and the reception was shut. Someone was standing with a key and took us to our room and said the Manager would see us in the morning. We went to breakfast just after 8am as the reception was still locked up.
Such a shame we stayed for two nights and it was one the most expensive of our time on the garden route ... And yet the only ones who weren't friendly, helpful or having an open decent reception time for guests. Also it was the only place we stayed at that didn't provide bottled water in the rooms.
It all looks lovely but is soulless, such a disappointment.
