Rhino Tourist Camp

We came to Rhino tourist Camp with a safari tour. The tour actually included a different camp nearby but we were put off by their ratings so we had booked Rhino tourist Camp instead on our own - and what to say, it was incredible! The staff was super nice, the Chef was really nice particularly and his food was amazing!!! There was always a pasta dish and then one veg/vegan (beans/lentils) and one meat dish with rice and then some vegetables and some fruit for desert, serve yourself, food was amazing. Breakfast was good too, tea and coffee (instant), toast freshly roasted over the fire!, peanut butter, butter and jam, and also pancakes. They also pack lunch if you're on safari. The room was great, we slept in a tent, it was very well kept and spacious and actually had a roof and basement made of stone (like a house, but with tent walls kinda), including a bathroom (shower, cold and warm, ofc not highest water pressure but definitely good shower!, toilet). The camp area was really well kept, looked exactly like the pictures with the little roofs and the green plants. Really beautiful! They had power times, so morning and evening you could charge your devices (generator). Wifi only in the restaurant area. Water and drinks sold in the restaurant area. And in the evening they made a small bon fire to sit around if you want and they organised a guide if you want to visit the nearby Massai village. Just note: no card payment. Also your stay has to be paid cash.

Buon rapporto qualitá prezzo, campo tendato con strutture in muratura situato a 5 minuti dal Gate Oloolaimutia , noi abbiamo alloggiato in stanze in muratura, una quadrupla con letti singoli con bagno che consente sufficiente spazio, abbastanza spartano ma pulito,tutti molto cortesi.

WIFI only in the dining hall.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to commodore us. Received us well and explain well how things work. Food was tasteful but small buffet selection.

Tent did not close completely. Could not be locked to leave valuables. Drinks counter or "bar" poorly stocked and no ice available. Only few drinks cold. Only instant coffee. Step between tent and bathroom entrance dangerous.
