Great location, don't eat or drink there

The location and sea view from the balcony were amazing. Watersports are available at the hotel. There are lots of really good restaurants between the hotel and Cavtat centre. Around a 20 -30 min walk. It is better to walk as the coastal path is stunning.. I had teens with me, but if you have younger kids, there are lots of entertainers around the pool.area during the day.

The food and drink was vile. Even my kids couldn't stomach the syrupy soft drinks. I read the reviews beforehand, but really didn't think the food would be that bad, it was. We ate breakfast then ended up.payimg for lunch and dinner out..my 2 sons enjoyed the food (they lobe a buffet), but me and my daughter and I were not.impresses.

Great location - only a short walk to restaurants and bar and about a 20 minute walk to Cavtat old town

Location was perfect - room was adequate for a 3 star

We arrived at 11am check in wasn’t until 3pm but we were advised we could use the pool and facilities - however no pool towels were available until 5pm . The towel desk is right next to the reception desk 😡 we had to spend €70 to buy 2 towels from the gift shop

We liked the beach and it was clean. The food wasn't bad either, only the alcoholic juice was very bad, it was deprived of water.

I liked that there was air conditioning in the room and good people worked in the restaurant and at the reception. At first we couldn't find a common language but then everything was relatively good

Great for a quick overnight stay — simple, clean, and close to Dubrovnik Airport.

We stayed at Remisens Hotel Epidaurus for one night as a family of five travelling from Australia, and it served our needs perfectly as a convenient stopover before an early morning flight. The hotel is located very close to Dubrovnik Airport, which was the main reason we chose it — the short travel time made our 4am departure much more manageable. The hotel itself is clean, compact, and basic — practical and no-frills. We didn’t opt for the all-inclusive package, as we decided to take an Uber into the Old Town of Dubrovnik for dinner, where the atmosphere and food options were far more varied. Overall, Remisens Hotel Epidaurus is a practical option if you’re looking for convenience near the airport. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely Croatian shortbread left for us in the room — a thoughtful touch that made us feel very welcome.

Ok stay but wouldn”t re-book

Very large premises. We had a room with partial sea view but still the view was fantastic!

Very long queues everywhere. Especially, check-in didn’t work at all and it was very crowded every day. The reception staff were really grumpy, and didn’t answer (or themselves greeted) to your greetings nor smiled. Swimming pools look great in the photos but they are really low and small ones, and the biggest one was always full of kids that weren”t staying at the hotel. Beach towels were often finished, so crab yours early. Same goes to sun chairs, guests go and reserve their chairs like 7am and keep them reserved the whole day even they wouldn”t be using them, and if you weren”t fast enough to reserve you don”t get one during the day.

Perfect hotel

It was first time we stayed in this hotel and our experience was great. Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, decorated well and extremely clean. The food was very tasteful (we had breakfast and dinner). The beach is directly in front of the hotel , beautiful beach, with sun beds and umbrellas included in the room price. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel!

Nouvelle charm of the Hotel from the 80's

Superb location by the beach, safe and the whole premises is nicely looked after. Breakfast was good, but dinner even better. Mostly pedestrian connection by the sea, to the City of Cavtat I liked very much. All members of the Staff of the hotel is very pleasant and helpful.

The air-condition in the room had i fixed temperature (22C) I could not change, which was very unpleasant.

Good location, value for money

Nice hotel, good location Pool was disappointing as is way smaller than in looks in pictures and it is clearly a "package" hotel. Think TUI, Jet2 etc etc. I wasn't expecting that, but maybe should have read into it a little more (its sister hotel a little further down the beach looked much nicer, but I booked this based on previous reviews). We had a sea view room on the 2nd floor, a great view across the bay and to watch the fabulous sunset with a glass of something cold in hand. Room is adequate in size, bathroom was very small, but for 2 nights, everything was adequate and value for money at 145€ per night for a double. It was a stop gap for 2 nights as we wanted something close to the airport after a few days in Montenegro (and having had a huge wait at the border, we opted to stay in Cavtat close to the airport for ease on departure day). Cavtat is a lovely little town and I would definitely recommend

Great motel in a good location

The location was perfect, the rooms while not huge were a good size. We had a balcony and ocean views. The motel had a fruit basket on arrival. The complimentary breakfast was great with our package.

Nothing. The only thing I could suggest is that the motel could send out instructions how to get there as google maps doesn’t have bus or ferry as an option but they are an option.

Great location needs an upgrade in food/drink offerings and entertainment

Interconnected room was great as was the sea view. Really close to old town port, only 10 min walk. Reception staff very professional.

Room smelled of cigarettes. We were all inclusive but food was poor so we ate out most evenings. Entertainment was poor, mostly focused on French customers, nothing for families. Location of evening entertainment and bar just wrong. Drinks were poor, very cheap wine we couldn’t drink it.

Breakfast was poor and not high quality, the coffee was terrible, there was humidity in the room (wet bed), the room is small and not clean enough, the air conditioning switched on and off automatically, and no towel dryer! (no place to dry your swimsuit)! The receptionist does not speak English well.

Good location needs improvement on meals

The location on the beach and near the village of Cavtat was excellent. The beach at the hotel is relatively small and rocky. Breakfast was complete and rather meat-oriented.

Melas would benefit from more healthy options. The shop was way over priced for basics such as snacks and water.

Wouldn't go back

Staff was amazing and hotel location very good.

There was completely nothing to do with kids. Not even one slide in the hotel and no waterparks within 300km. Hotel entertainment was ONLY FOR FRENCH SPEAKING PEOPLE!!! We were shocked and felt discriminated. French people had a caraoke and dancing every night and other people could just watch from the distance. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.....maybe to French people only.

Location was ok. 15 walk to the cool area.

Facility was not what we had expected. It was under staffed and it was messy. Dirty dishes everywhere ( window sills, under staircases,etc.)that had been sitting for days. Mold on ceilings. 2 twin beds pushed together to make a queen. Don’t even think about trying to sleep/have fun next to your partner. You will end up in the hole between the beds. Bring your own beach towels and tissue. These items are not provided. Construction site with massive crane next to my balcony overlooking the sea. Looks like a year away from completion.

Exceptional

As a resident of konavle, I booked with Epidaurus Cavtat hotel for one reason , to make my child enjoy all facilities that were given for kids. Park, special small swiming pool for litle baby like mine and kids play room with toys. This was fantastic stay for me.
