THE STORE

The history of “The Store” is very interesting. The owner John meets you at check in and shows you around the place and shares the history and a little bit about himself. Absolutely the best when it comes to anything that makes your stay a five star event!! The bedding and bed are wonderful. John is accessible at all times. It was our anniversary and John told my husband about 3 different restaurants he would recommend. Did not disappoint. Death and Taxes was SOOOO GOOOD! One of our favorite anniversaries in 41 years!,

Unique and beautiful place to stay. John provided excellent directions for checking in and parking, and was hospitable. Bed was very comfortable. Appreciated the amenities (high end shampoo and conditioner, water bottles, snacks, fresh fruit, free Prime video and Netflix). John gave excellent suggestions for nearby activities and places to eat.

The floors were squeaky but that's to be expected with old buildings.

The Store is extremely charming and comfortable, as well as full of personality. Our room was very spacious and light. The downstairs sitting room is superb for reading and an afternoon nap.

Overall we had an excellent stay. The only thing I'd mention is that, one night, we could hear quite loudly the wood floors creaking in the room next door early in the morning, which woke us up.

In a very good location. The property is very clean and very comfortable. We stayed in the suite. The owner John was very proactive in communicating and also very accommodating to our needs to ensure we were comfortable. He also has great recommendations on restaurants and cafes. We liked it so much that we extended our stay.

All older buildings have the downside of creaky floors. It wasn’t a real problem when our neighbors were sleeping normal hours. We did had one night that our neighbors stayed up way past our bed time.
