Elegant 1 bed flat with balcony in Islington

A lovely, spacious, bright and peaceful apartment. The views are beautiful, and having the canal just two minutes away is a real bonus — it’s a lovely area for walks and getting away from the noise of the city. The apartment gets lots of natural light and is a very pleasant place to stay. I slept extremely well, as it is very quiet. The location is also great, with everything you need nearby. I especially appreciated how considerate the hosts were. They kindly allowed me to check in several hours earlier than originally planned and made every effort to have the apartment ready for my arrival. I really appreciated their flexibility and thoughtfulness. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout — quick, easy and friendly. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I would happily stay here again.

The only thing to be aware of is that, like many apartments in London, it can get quite warm during the hottest hours of the day in August. The apartment does have a few fans, which were helpful, and there is a nice breeze when the windows are open, which also helps to keep the apartment cooler.

Decent apartment for the London’s low standards and very expensive prices.

Absolutely no chance to park around overnight or even more than a few hours if you are travelling by car.

It was a roomy apartment.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable and pillows were very flat. Apartment was very hot, needed air conditioning. The key wouln't lock the front door the last night when we went out.
