We loved the location, it was amazing to feel like we were inside Shali fortress. The rooftop had an amazing view of the ancient city. We were able to walk to all of the sites in the town centre. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially with our 5 year old. The staff arranged any tour we were interested in and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed each day.

The hot water kept turning off, however the staff fixed it quickly whenever we asked.

Location is perfect. Beautiful setting. Walkable to the Bazaar and anything else you need in town. Breakfast was good and they prepared takeaway boxes when needed. Sunset at the rooftop is magical!

The bed and pillows are very uncomfortable, as tough as the stone floor. The coffee shop items are tasty but the service is very slow and they just don’t seem to care. It’s noisy outside until around 23:00 or later - not their fault, but if you’re planning on disconnecting/relaxing, their sister property might be better.

- the most central location that can possibly be in Siwa - a beautiful hotel in traditional Siwa style - great hosts, especially Salama and Osman, they provided great service and were very welcoming, went above and beyond - other facilities are just beautiful. The cafe/restaurant, and the fact that it just feels like a part of the Shali fortress - there are also a couple of shops that belong to Albabenshal and they’re amazing, you’ll be able to buy organic and handmade items there - the beds are big and comfy
