Talist Siwa

Great facilities and atmosphere to relax with amazingly wonderful rock mountain and lake view. Friendly staffs and cute dogs :) Delicious breakfast. Even though there are some restrictions on using of water and electricity like other ecolodges, but you can effortlessly accept this as a part of Siwa life 😀

Breakfast was super delicious, oriental, fresh healthy bread backed locally, prepared by heart

I'll start with how breakfast was thoughtful and delightful! Definitely worth waking up for, so fresh! They have the most thoughtful and helpful staff and in addition to their own staff, they are well connected with the community. They were able to arrange everything we wanted to do, and typically under a very tight timeline. They also have a lovely little shop that his packed with local delights. I was visiting with family but it was a trip I took with my sister and our children, and notably without any adult male. As a single mom, it is always important to be able to feel safe and secure in new places. Talist hit and exceeded the mark here! Would recommend 100%.

The owners and staff provided great hospitality. The food is excellent, albeit expensive (compared to going to town)

The room wasn't great. We had the triple bungalow, which was basically a tent. It was very hot and no fan was provided. The place is very basic.
