Sandhya Guest House Varanasi Near Ganga River

Very very helpful and hospitable. Comfortable bed

The staff was willing to help. The location is close to Assi Ghat & Harisvhandra Ghat. Plus walkable to street food and decent restaurants. The owner and his Son of the property personally meet & ask for the needs.

Some road Noise at times but it doesn't disturb when you are in the room.

So happy to recommend Sandhya guest house, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a quieter part of the old city. All the staff are very kind and thoughtful and ready to help with any information you might need. As a lone woman traveller, they checked to make sure I felt safe and had an enjoyable visit. Really a gem of a find. A great, clean room and lovely fresh breakfast too. My favourite stay in India!

It is clean and staff is caring a lot, it is run by japanese woman and indian man, so it has some japanese like stuff. Small nice things. They smile a lot and care.

I do not know why i am invited to write a review because i was not happy and asked for cancelation. Room was very small (though they promised the bigger one tomorrow), but the location for me was awful as it was just nearby noisy street and that noise you could hear clearly. I just felt it is definitely the place i would like to stay 7 days and we agreed about the free cancelation. I was surprised that they refused to take money at all for one night i stayed there. After some discussions about me wanting to give money i just gave 500 rs for tips which were handed to the very kind staff member at my sight. So after all i do not have any complaints, but i would advice to look carefully what are your expectations in Kashi.
