Excellent stay with wonderful hosts and tasty breakfast
Valeria and Jean-Paul were excellent hosts, very welcoming and sociable. We enjoyed chatting to them. The property has lots of character, we had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, cheeses, jams and fruit from the garden.

Lovely home stay with a lovely host
The host, Valerie was very helpful and kind. She attended to all our requests and made us feel welcomed. The home is very nicely decorated and all the needed amenities are available.
I also liked the home-like breakfast that Valerie prepared for us. It was all fresh, locally sourced and delicious.
The tub was very pretty and so pleasing to the eye. However, I would suggest that having a shower stand will be very useful especially for the men.

Charming place close to the center of town. Breakfast was amazing with fresh local cheeses, fruits, excellent organic bread. Room was spacious and well decorated. Hostess was very welcoming.

Charming place to stay in Thonon, highly recommand
La maison de Concise is beautiful house from XIX century, beautifully decorated with elegant taste. You feel inside like at home. You can scent the history inside. Every step tells you it’s story. It is very clean and comfortable with lovely garden, where the tasty breakfast is served. Hosts are very friendly, open to people and very supportive. La maison has very good location – walking distance to the centre and lake promenade Highly recommend.
for sensitive people, I recommend earplugs because the house is located at the crossroads of small but busy streets.

Perfect stay
Nothing to add here except that you must stay at Valerie’s if you find youtselves near the Lac Léman (French side). Located at just a few paces away to the lake promenade your accomodation comes with a reserved parking spot for you behind the house. You will be greeted by the nicest and most helpful folks into their charming abode. Not to mention the included hearty and delicious breakfast included and consisting of healthy local products and other home baked jams and marmelade. I can only highly commend the experience and recommend that you stop there because you will not regret it.

Thonon -les- Bains ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert.
Die Unterkunft für uns war sehr geräumig, wir hatten eine Etage quasi für uns. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, die Lage ebenfalls. Wir haben unser Auto in den beiden Tagen nicht gebraucht. Die Gegend ist einfach traumhaft schön.
Schön anzusehen sind auch die Bilder, die in dem ganzen Haus zu finden sind. Alles sehr geschmackvoll. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
Das Badezimmer ist zwar sehr groß, aber das Duschen in der Badewanne eher abenteuerlich.

Sijainti erinomainen, 10 minuutin kävely keskustaan, jossa oli hyviä ravintoloita. Talon emäntä erittäin kielitaitoinen ja ystävällinen. Autolle turvallinen pysäköintipaikka talon takana. Aamiainen paikallisine juustoinen oli hyvä😀 Tulisimme toistekin.

… immersi nel fascino francese
Il bed and breakfast si trova in una casa d’epoca, rivisitata internamente ed arredata con gusto, senza disturbare il fascino puramente francese d’altri tempi. Infatti la villa è stata una dimora ricca di storia in questa piccola città che nel largo del tempo ha partecipato agli eventi storici della zona. Thonon les bains ha un piacevole centro medievale in cui poter fare due passi allacciato ad un lungolago e belvedere deliziosi.
Purtroppo abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte, in una stanza ampia, comoda, silenziosa, molto confortevole dotata di ampia sala di bagno e toilette ad uso esclusivo; quindi abbiamo utilizzato soltanto la camera da letto ma c’è la possibilità di usufruire del piano completo della villa, dotato di cucina attrezzata grosso salone e balcone.
C’erano altri ospiti alloggiati, ma la struttura è talmente spaziosa che ha consentito una privacy (non sempre scontata per una realtà Bed & Breakfast). Confort e silenzio sono garantiti.
Madame Valerie , la proprietaria di casa, è una persona deliziosa, gentile e disponibile , che ha preparato con cura una guida personale da consultare, in cui elenca Ristorante, bar,cantine e altri luoghi di interesse turistico e culturale della zona, sulla riva francese ed Svizzera (con alcuni spunti di suggerimenti in altre città più lontane come Como, Ginevra e Parigi).Una guida personale (e personalizzata secondo il Proprio gusto), che riflette un’ottima host ma anche sicuramente un’esperta ed attenta viaggiatrice. Motivo per il quale la comunicazione è stata più che ottima.
The last but not the least:abbiamo fatto un’ottima e abbondante prima colazione, con prodotti di eccellente qualità:pane fresco e croccante, croissants, brioche, marmellate fatte in casa e formaggi della zona;poi caffè tè cioccolata calda, cereali. Ottimo latte ma anche la possibilità del latte vegetale. Che altro?

Hôtes très accueillants. La Maison Concise est à proximité à pied à la fois de l'Ultra centre de Thonon et du Lac (10mn) et à une quinzaine de minutes du Chateau de la Ripaille dont la visite est hautement recommandée.

Kleine sehr schöne Unterkunft zentral gelegen
Es ist eine sehr liebevoll eingerichtete kleine Unterkunft! Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und das Frühstück im Garten hat uns besonders gut gefallen! Sehr sehr empfehlenswert! Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ebenfalls mit vielen kleinen schönen Details ausgestattet. Es gab sogar ein handgeschriebenes Buch mit Tipps in der Region.

Déception
Tout était très propre la salle de bain est privative. Le parking est aisé, juste derrière la maison. La façade de la maison correspond aux photos. C'est assez proche du lac.
L'annonce montre un magnifique jardin auquel nous n'avons pas eu accès du tout, ni même pour le petit-déjeuner, alors qu'il faisait beau et doux, quel dommage ! L'accès n'est pas prévu pour les hôtes. Le petit-déjeuner est uniquement sucré et est servi à la lumière artificielle dans une pièce sans fenêtre ni vue.
Pour la chambre avec lits jumeaux, la salle de bain et le WC sont tout au bout du couloir.
Les photos de l'annonce concernant l'extérieur ne correspondent à ce que nous avons vécu.

Sympathischer Ort mit sympathischen Gastgebern in familiärer Umgebung
Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen - die Lage, das Haus, die Zimmer, die Gastgeber. Wir haben 2 Zimmer gemietet mit insgesamt 4 Betten und einem gemeinsamen Badezimmer - wir hatten viel Platz und Privatsphäre. Bei einem nächsten Besuch in Thonon würden wir sofort wieder hierher kommen.

de ligging is zeer goed voor wie geneve en haute savoie wil bezoeken.
de badkamer is romantisch, maar wel te delen met een andere kamer. er zijn voor de rest enkel maar positieve zaken te melden.

Älteres Haus mit eigenem Charakter.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Innenstadt und der Genfer See sind jeweils in ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.
In unserem Stockwerk waren 2 Gästezimmer, aber nur 1 Bad.
