The location was excellent and very safe and secure. There was a nice balcony that looked down over the street.
Actually pretty good value for the money if you want a private bathroom. Nice staff and nice cold air conditioning.
The room was very tired, mattress was uncomfortable and the fan in the room was very noisy.

It's a beautiful building in a historical neighborhood. If you like to cook, there's plenty of room to prepare meals. If you have clothes that need cleaning, there is a pre-paid washer and dryer. If you like meeting fellow travelers, there are plenty of opportunities. If you are looking for inexpensive shared quarters, look no further.
For my personal requirements, I needed something more private and centrally located; also, looking for more recent upgrades and improvements. Leaning more towards boutique experience and less towards backpacking experience.
