Clean and tidy with everything we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The cottage was on the doorstep of all the village amenities. The comfy bed meant we slept very well, which enabled us to enjoy our stay. There was so much to do in the area. We would love to visit again in the future.
We were exposed to the cafe garden next door as the fence was very low, however the owner said there was a new higher fence coming so this won't be an issue in the future.

The house was on different levels which made it quirky and interesting. There was plenty of space for the two of us. It was clean and there was a nice welcome box from the owner which was very thoughtful.
The village was great, close to the coast, with two pubs with good choice of dishes, a lovely coffee shop (next door) and a handy shop for groceries.
The owners had removed the hedge between their garden and the coffee shop next door just before we arrived so sitting on the patio felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. A warning about lack of privacy would have been good and the garden waste cleared away by the gate would have made access easier.
The bed was very soft which made for an achey back in the morning.
There is no seaview as it states in the description.

The location is excellent. Easy to travel the area. People in the village welcoming and friendly.
Cottage in need of some ref
urbishment. Lounge area very basic.
Kitchen poorly equiped for self catering. Wine cooler and ice maker but no freezer.
Very litte in the way of cooking utensils. The lighting was also poor, made the kichen quite gloomy.
The outside space overgrown and neglected.
