Perfectly located and quiet, other than a rooster

I loved the quiet location, easy access and the owner was very happy. The grounds are clean and they are doing improvements and building new villas

The rooster, from 3am crowed all morning. The pool needs maintenance and because the birds are nesting in thatch hut the thatch is all through the pool. No blankets on bed, shower wasn't great.

Lots of potential to make this a great place

If you want to be out of the Sanur beach area this location is good. Lots of local warungs to eat at and a handy laundrette within walking distance

The place has much potential, but there are many better choices available. Please read further.

It was absolutely NOT at described. We stayed in the King Suite, which boasts 'Guests can make meals in the fully equipped kitchen that has a stovetop, a refrigerator and kitchenware . . . this suite also features a tea and coffee maker and a flat-screen TV with cable channels.' This was not true. The fully equipped kitchen is outside, and was not fit for use. The refrigerator was inside, but dirty and not turned on. There was no tea and coffee maker, other than a kettle. We took a bath, and there was NO hot water. There were old toiletries in the bathroom and dirty mats, about the size of a bath mat on the floor. We tried to give constructive feedback to the owner, and he basically refuted all of feedback, to say he was short staffed, and that we didn't run the hot water long enough. There was NO hot water when the bath was about 1/3 full. We asked to look at other rooms and he said they weren't ready, but he would show us the next day, but we checked out on time, and he had not returned.

Traditional bali style clean accommodation experience

The basic setup of the hotel is great once you get used to it. When you first arrive and do not know what to expect then you are a bit confused. But once you realise what type of experience they are offering on terms of the traditional style then you realise how cool the hotel is. Also like the chicken family in the room courtyard.

The rooster crowing at 4am in the first morning caught me out a tad. But the owner quickly relocated it so it was faint until 6am. No obvious sign of the hotel name that I could see. Ran off the street number only. Worked it out in the end.

Lovely Balinese Villa Close to Sanur's Main Hubs

Wonderful experience of a one night stay in a classic Balinese accommodation. Room is clean with a lovely Balinese garden. Thanks to the host Damara for being super responsive and helpful during my stay. Great value of money for staying close to main hubs in Sanur, would definitely come back!

By far, it's great

I like the fact that it is close to every strategic places in Sanur. The staff is also kind, helpful and attentive on every ocassion or situation during my stay. The host, Mr. Juarez also very helpful and attentive during my stay at Puri Kutat Lestari. Great value for the money spend, and I definitely would come back and spread it to my folks.

Amazing stay, I highly recommend !

I would like to thank Putu (the host) for his really warm welcome. Authentic and super helpful person, he is very concerned about your stay and he would do the maximum he can so you can enjoy your time in this nice and comfy shared villa. Everyone has his private space and the only way you can see someone else is at the swimming pool (very clean and pretty by the way) Great moment and encounter, I highly recommend this place if you stay one or few nights in denpasar.

Beautiful, just so beautiful.

The place is magnificent and I don’t think I can find words to describe it. - It’s quiet complex of houses with a calm, beautiful pool. - Putu put his love in selecting the wooden interior for his place. - I asked for a desk so I could work but he did a free upgrade for me to the family suite. Of course, with all the desk(S) so I could work. - The neighborhood is cute, less touristic but still near the beach. Definitely come back next time!

Too many pebbles

The host was welcoming, the gardens lovely, the bed was comfortable. Free water.

Run down. The linen was stained, towels worn out, broken tiles in the pool. The curtains were stained. The bathroom was bad. Dirty bath, cold water shower, pebbles all over the floor and filthy underneath, a safety hazard Dirty pebbles in the sink, a health hazard. Had to climb over a retaining wall to get to the pool or walk around the whole building. No hair-dryer, no jug for heating water, photos deceptive. Ok for back packers if they don't mind a grubby place. Very disappointing. Only take cash when paying. Good Cafe across the road, deli around the corner, excellent food. 15 minutes to the beach. Would not recommend this place.

Exceptional

I had the most incredible stay at this accommodation! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The exceptional hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest. The unique Balinese vibe added an enchanting touch to the experience, and I found the cosy garden to be a peaceful oasis. The highlight, though, was definitely the lovely swimming pool – a perfect spot to relax and unwind. I can't wait to return to this wonderful place!

Disappointing

Good price and quiet area.

Very old, dirty and not maintained. There was a mashroom in the room and cockroach in toilet. Location behind big street that is very dangerous to cross on foot.

Stay away....very worn down and very unhygienic.

Owner seemed nice and wifi was good.

The place was very worn down and unhygienic. The floor boards were in poor condition (gaps big enough you can see the bottom floor). Cant walk around without constant squecking from the floorboards. The place was not to standard or expectation. The minute the lights got deemed the RATS came out to play. Seen the rat on multiple times running up and down around the bed. Was hard to relax or sleep as our focus was avoiding the rats and geckos. The power went out during the stay as well. The location around the area was extremely dirty and smelly. The place was a dump and by far the worst place we have ever stayed. Would not recommend.

Enchanting place - excellent stay.

Peaceful and beautiful location, surrounded by green and nature, and very close to the beach and centre of Sanur; lovely outdoor swimming pool and garden; SPA right nextdoor and accessible from the pool area as well. Warm welcome and very helpful host; Putu took very good care of me during my whole stay and he was always available when I needed it. Great view on garden and pool from the private balcony and patio; I would definitely recommend this magical place and can't wait to come back soon.

A quiet balinese garden away from the hustle

This place is a gem, if you like things on the rustic side. Quirky and lovely, large beautiful garden and pool laid out in traditional Balinese manner, away from hustle of Kuta. Wonderful for curoius children and adults alike, traditional, cultural influences to explore. Our hand built bungalow was basic, comfortable and clean. Pool clean and perfect after flight and transfer. Owner Putu is generous, helpful and friendly. We stayed one night. Would've liked a second night to explore area and beach.

Beautiful garden, quiet location, great swimming pool, parking, good WiFi, sat.TV, very nice and helpful staff and owner, daily mineral water, breakfest on request (extra charge).

Toilets and kitchen corner in our house must be replaced immediately - not partial improvement but complete renovation. A small amount of kitchen utensils.

Super peaceful and restful but close to local amenities

This place is like a sanctuary, a little haven. I enjoyed most the peaceful, beautiful grounds with many frangipani trees, banana, papaya and lime trees...it’s a really unique place that is extremely good value for money. Very short journey from the beaches of Sanu.
