Lisca Bianca

We loved our week in San Vito lo Capo. Lisca Bianca is a really nice, well-designed, comfortable home in an excellent location at one end of the town, away from most of the madness but very easy to walk into the centre of town (10 min). The shaded outside area is great to have, and we were extremely grateful for the air conditioning. There was a generous welcome basket on arrival. Francesco was a really helpful host - he booked our taxis for us and recommended restaurants etc. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked several times. The outdoor shower is great to have when you get back from the beach covered in sand. The location is superb - just a few steps to the beach. Al Sabbione is the beach club near the house, but we actually preferred the lidos either side of it - the sun loungers were cheaper and we didn't need the bar/restaurant as we just nipped back to the house for food/drink/showers etc. The sea is gorgeous - so clear, and the perfect temperature in late June/early July. Also perfect for younger kids as it's shallow for ages. It was busy, but we expected that. We rented a boat for half a day, which was great fun - lovely to stop off in the small coves for a dip, although they're certainly not undiscovered! Our group was two 18-year-olds, two 21-year-olds and two 'oldies', and we all had a brilliant time. The best meal we had was (without the youngsters) at Profumi di Cous Cous - not cheap, but delicious cous cous with fish.

The air con in one bedroom didn't work initially, but the host went above and beyond to get it fixed as quickly as he could. We were rarely all coming and going together, so at least one more set of keys for the front gate and door would have been useful. The bed wasn't the most comfortable - the mattress protector felt plasticky and was quite noisy.

Der Vermieter war extrem freundlich und hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert! Das Haus war extrem sauber incl. Kindersandspielzeug, Grill und Gartenarbeiten!

The location was great - a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a minute's walk from the beach and sea. Beautiful garden and rooftop views. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the beds comfortable. Everything you need for everyday life and cooking was provided, and also we were welcomed with lovely gifts :). There's no better host or home nearby!
