House / Villa - Les Arcs

We (family of 4 with 2 kids) had a great time at the villa in Les Arcs. The Pool was great and the air condition ensured a very goodnights-sleep. The location is just great to explore the Côte d‘Azur and all its famous cities. We went to see Nizza, Antibes, Fréjus, Grasse and St. Maxime on a day trip. The host was really nice, always available and very helpful. We were really sad when we had to leave and hope we can return soon!

Good location and excellent and clean house

The photos and description drew us in, but the reality was ever better. This is a fantastic property and dealt like home from home. Naima couldn’t have been more helpful, polite and accommodating and we are already looking to come back again. Location wise it is ideal in touching distance of Marseille, Aix, St Tropez Cannes, Monaco and even Italy.

The villa and pool were immaculately clean and the owner was on hand to answer and questions. With the help of Google translate, I was able to ask questions and communicate easily. We are a family of 4 so the 3 bedrooms were lovely as it meant the children had one each. It is worth mentioning though, that there is one aircon unit the services the three bedrooms from the corridor which means that the bedroom doors all needed to be open for it to have the desired effect - this could limit privacy but was not an issue for us as we have young children. There is another aircon unit in the lounge area. It is also worth mentioning that on top of the rent and cleaning fee, you are required to pay for electricity - this cost us approx 45 euros for the week. We used the aircon unit in the bedroom corridor every night for about 8 hours and the one in the lounge a couple of hours a day. The owner was happy to give us updates of the energy consumption during the week. Bed linen and towels were provided but we had to make up the beds and strip them ourselves. We didn’t mind but I know this is not the case in most villas. The pool is lovely. There is plenty of seating and at least 6 sunbeds but the only shade is the canopy on the lower patio. The pool area would benefit from a couple of parasols. We moved the sunbeds to under the canopy but there is only space for 3. Don’t let any of the above put you off booking as it’s a lovely place but worth knowing the above before you book.
