Lovely home away from home in Gateshead
Flat is beautifully decorated, in a cute retro style. Felt very homely and cosy. Great views from living room window, out across the valley. 10 minute walk to lots of great venues in Gateshead with food and coffee. Fantastic communication from the owner beforehand, clear and easy instructions for accessing the property.
The flat is over the 1st and 2nd floors, and the stairs up to the 2nd floor in particular are very steep and narrow just due to being an older building. The bathroom and living space are both on the 2nd floor, so if there is anyone in the party with mobility challenges or elderly this is worth bearing in mind. It wasn't an issue for our party but just wanted to highlight it for others!

Easy to arrange access. Dylan is an excellent host. The property is very well maintained and very comfortable. Just what you need for a short stay on Tyneside.
