La Casetta di Ely

Please note when you make reservations, that there are two options – one an apartment and the other one, the triple room. This review is for the triple room. The location is very convenient as it is very centrally located. It is two stops on bus or tram to Santa Maria Maggiore, and three stops to Termini station. The bus/tram stop for the above is half a block away. The metro station is about 2 1/2 blocks away in the other direction. If you enjoy walking, Termini is about 10 minutes on foot. The Colosseo is probably around 20 minutes on foot or you can catch a bust or tram 2.5 blocks from the apartment. There is also a large grocery store half a block away. The apartment itself is really nice. It is one very large room with a bathroom half a floor down the stairs. There is one large permanent bed in it, and a convertible bed that the owner can open up, if the reservation is for more people. There were four of us and we had both beds opened for us. They were both extremely comfortable. The mattresses are memory foam, as were the pillows. The blankets were also lightweight and appropriate for the season. There is an air conditioner. It makes some strange light rumbling noises when it works, but it works fine and I didn’t find the noises disturbing. The star of the apartment is the beautiful patio. It is spacious and has seating for four people. We used it every day to have meals and relax outdoors. The communication with the owner was very pleasant. She was kind enough to let us stay extra 30 minutes as check out. The actual check in/out process is very straightforward. The keys are placed in coded boxes next to the apartment. The owner provided us with instructions on retrieving them. That was great because I did not feel rushed to make it to the apartment at a particular time after my flight. Overall I really enjoyed the stay.

Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, zameldowanie bezproblemowe, w mieszkaniu były najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy do przygotowania lekkiego posiłku. Taras sztos. Po całym dniu zwiedzania był naprawdę dobrym miejscem na odpoczynek. Lokalizacja dobra choć trochę dalej od komunikacji miejskiej niż zakładałam.

Zapach w mieszkaniu ,czajnik mógłby być elektryczny.

Muy bien equipado, tenia todo lo necesario para una estadia ya sea solo para dormir o en el caso de cocinar y ese tipo de cosas muy bien, un patio hermoso también.

El departamento no es muy grande, eso no me molestó, sino que Internet no llegaba a la habitación y estaba pegada al comedor donde estaba el router.
