This villa is in an extraordinarily peaceful and beautiful location on a mountain top. The villa is well equipped, with a separate building which works as a kitchen/dining room with dishwasher, range cooker and barbeque. Beyond the beauty of nature, was the friendly 'can do' approach of the owner who is passionately knowledgeable about the area and arranged for the delivery of wonderful artisan bread every morning and was always available with information and support.

We had a teenage daughter with us and initially she found the isolation of the location shocking from her life in London. The owner's passion for the location changed her view very quickly. Travelling at the end of June, our first few nights were chilly with a determined and constant cold wind

We were in the 6 bed unit without pool but good patio area and bbq.we liked the WiFi and English satellite tv stations. We visited the Buddha gardens and the town of Óbidos spending a day at each the house is out on its own but you can stock up at the supermarket 30 min drive away. The is a nice walk from the house to the top of the mountain up a old cobbled path to the church

Bedding needed airing it was a little damp and the double bed needs replacing

Un problema que tuvimos a la llegada al alojamiento, puesto que la piscina estaba completamente verde, y el aire acondicionado estaba súper sucio y lleno de moho por todos lados
