Good instructions - key code and keys in the property. Lovely old building. Great location. Good restaurants very close by. Good instruction booklet.

No good sitting area, some chairs on landing area between kitchen/diner and bedrooms. Parking close by but fees - although not high.

Overall a super stay

Great location. Very comfortable. Bathroom was fitted out to very high standard.

The parking was a bit tricky. There is paid parking outside but we were there for 6 nights so would have been very expensive. There was free parking available which was a 10-15 minutes walk. The other slight issue was that despite the apartment be equipped for 2 people in every other respect, there was only one arm chair!

The laundry was in a dungeon like basement - I chose this property thinking the washing machine and dryer would be in our penthouse apartment - also it was not a hotel - it was like an airbnb as no reception and no one to meet us upon entry - very disappointing

Charming spot in the center of Chinon. The apartment was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The check-in/out was seamless. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the breeze and the quiet town. For convenience, we parked in the lots near the apartment and paid the $25 daily fee. We loved this sweet town, rented bikes, enjoyed wine tours and the fortress and of course, yummy French food!

Short stay in Chinon centre

Nicely equipped apartment. Very good location, in town centre, almost just next to good restaurants like Les Annees 30s, La Maison Rouge. Car parking not far, cheap. A nice church next, not loud but we received a personal organ play.

A beautiful dog friendly property in a central location

The apartment is very nice in a small courtyard and a 3 minute walk to the main square in town. It is a delightful property in beautiful surroundings. We were able to park right outside. It is dog friendly. The owner was very helpful in explaining how to drive there which was spot on.

Some of the facilities were sparse such as cooking utensils. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge and no sofa to chill out on. The TV is in the bedroom so the bed is the sort of sofa - a bit like a hotel room. These are minor issues.

Just a great place to stay and a few minutes of the river, Fortress and town centre. Perefect

The instructions how to get in were very clear and the apartment was delightful. A mix of character and charm with modern facilities. The location is superb with the river, fortress and town centre only a few minutes walk away. They restrict traffic on the road so it is quite and peaceful. And you have a 15 Century church next door visited by Joan of Arc in 1429.

The sofa bed is not the most comfortable but it is a sofa bed! The main bedroom is though fantastic.

New mattress and pillows required. Plus instructions for cooker. We were asked to separate waste - paper / plastic, bottles etc. No instructions and no bags.

A well decorated apartment on a beautiful street with handy parking but at ground level so many people walking past wind

The location! Right in the main historical street. Three of the wine glasses had cracks in them but the host replaced them straight away when informed - very responsive! The host was very responsive to all communication. The free public parking just outside the unit is VERY appreciated.

The unit is at street level so everyone walking past could see right in. People often stopped right outside the windows to take photos because the street is so beautiful (a positive and a negative)! So, we had to keep the privacy curtains closed. The cutlery and dishes were very greasy so we had to wash them all.

Attractive 3-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chinon

Centrally located apartment in the middle of Chinon. Host was very helpful, and the apartment was clean and spacious.

WiFi went in and out for us, but mostly had it. The Place in front of the house is very small, and we had trouble finding a spot. We ended up waiting for someone to leave to then get a real parking place. The road up to the Place was very narrow but we managed.

A beautiful full service apartment at the heart of a historic village.

Our stay at Nature & Chateaux exceeded our expectations in every way! The accommodation was a full-service apartment complete with a large fridge, cooking utensils and a dishwasher. The hotel is truly in the heart of the old city with a view of the charming cobble-stone streets right from the apartment. The unit was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. Accessing the room was easy and communication with the host was very smooth. I highly recommend this booking!!

The only downsides were that the wifi was quite slow and patchy and that the parking was very limited. The wifi was enough to google for a restaurant, but certainly not strong enough to do anything more, so I wouldn't consider it to be work-friendly. But that wasn't a big deal for us. There are about 4 small free parking spaces right in front of the property but they were always full. There is paid parking throughout the town and along the main road as well as a fully free parking area 15 minute walk away (Parking Jeanne d'Arc). Everything is super walkable in Chinon, so there wasn't really a need for us to park right in front. So if you don't mind walking, I would suggest parking outside the old city and walking to the hotel as the streets are VERY narrow and windy!

The position is perfectly central yet quite and calm. The building is old but we'll renovated. The kitchen has everything needed. Good bed and shower.
