Great place to relax, enjoy the views and activities around. Tourists should stay here more.

Great views and nice staff. My husband and I had a very comfortable stay, and we enjoyed the pool very much.

No access to swim in the beach in front but that is out property’s admin control. Maybe a blackout would be nice for windows.

This wasn't our first stay here...and it won't be our last!

This place is a "hidden gem". You absolutely cannot beat this place for a quiet, peaceful stay in the city of Cabarete. Manicured property (trees, flowers, grass, etc.), very close to the beach. Hear the sounds of the wind blowing through the palm trees at the same time as hearing the ocean waves crash hear the shore.

The ONLY thing "some" people may not like about El Magnifico Hotel is there is no "on property" restaurant on the site. However, this maybe a GOOD thing...helps keep the property clean and quiet. Plus, there are several excellent local restaurants hear the hotel, and there is a Supermarket (Janet's) just a few steps away (yes, walking distance).

Is quite large and good for short or long stay. Location is not quite in the middle of town but easy walking to it. Jacuzzi and pool are great.

superb hotel, clean with amazing gardens , the jaccuzi's are fantastic especially at night . super friendly staff . just perfect at a very low price.

would be great if they have breakfast service , now you have to leave that perfect relaxing location to have breakfast which breaks the atmosphere .

It’s a beautiful gardens and lush landscape but not a great beach front location.

This property we choose as we had very high expectations based on the reviews. Specially we wanted to stay at beach front location. It is beach front but beach is all rocky and not desirable to enjoy. You really can’t use the beach in front of the property. This place has amazing beautiful gardens and lush green grounds. If you are into that you will love it. We were there for water and ocean and we don’t really got to see that. Rooms was ok specially if you are going to be on higher floor it’s a workout using a spiral stairs to get to it. The front desk staff and security guards were very nice and helpful.

It’s not a true oceanfront as you can’t use the beach. Lots of rocks and beach is very ruff waters.

Great Hotel , wonderfull staff

breakfast service would be nice to have , even if its catered. wonderfully built and maintained, hot jaccuzi with view on the beach is splendid at night . staff was very friendly.

not a problem for me but having a cemetary right next door could be a bit scary for some people :-)

La tranquilidad del hotel ,la cercanía con la playa,la privacidad, ufffffffff, demasiado hermoso. La royal suite, fué todo lo que esperábamos y más ,estaba muy bien equipada la cocina, bastante espacioso,varias mesas para poder comer,el balcón bastante amplio ,la cama súper cómoda y agua caliente en todo el apartamento,teníamos 2 baños👌 ,esperamos volver pronto, porque llenó nuestras expectativas,de hecho fué mas de lo que pensábamos.Los empleados muy amables 👌🤗🤗🤗.

we rented the pent house apartment. it was beautiful and very large. the views were amazing.

it was difficult to cool the apartment. we just used the AC in the bedroom at night and that worked out well. there are many windows in the house and a nice breeze

Amazing view in a quiet palace near the beach

It is a hidden gem nearby cabarete “main beach”. you have a 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants and bars there. supermarket is close by, however, it is far enough away from the street to have an absolutely quiet night (despite from the sound of the waves) :) i was able to see the sea out of my bed, yakuzi and pool are in good shape and the staff was super friendly.

Improvement point is the stability and speed of the WIFI. Be aware, that you cannot go swimming at the beach in front of the Hotel. Too dangerous. Beach is like 10 mins walking distance.

wifi didn't work in the room. bathroom is connected to bedroom (no separate door). AC is directly pointed to bed, kind of uncomfortable.

Very peaceful and nice place.

Room had no door to bathroom or shower curtain. This was for room 18A queen room. A/C did not cool enough the entire room. Needed to keep ceiling fan on at all times.

A garden of stylish leisure

Loved thoughtful design and style, stuff being multilingual, helpful and friendly and we enjoyed exquisite gardener's work, every little green guy was in its place and cared for Room is not big but nevertheless feels spacy enough and has everything necessary for short stay. Very luckily located near Janet's supermarket and Velero restaurant where we could buy breakfast and had dinners with stunning sunset view. Thank you, El Magnifico ❤️

No breakfast but my husband made friends with the security guards and they were all amazing and friendly we will be back location is good property is well kept so they got us coffee and we ate at nearby places and shop

The location is beautiful, you go out directly to the ocean and beach. Very nice staff and perfect help with car or trips. They speak German and English:) in the early morning you are welcomed by small crabs, just perfect.

The air conditioning was a bit loud at the beginning, but still okay. We would stay there again.

A dreamy location, the cleanest and best cared of hotel we have stayed in while in the DR. From night one it felt like home, my boyfriend and I were blown away by absolutely everything. Everyone was very kind and helpful, the room cleaned daily and with a fridge. We recharged our batteries and relaxed like never before!! bravo El Magnifico!!
