The location was perfect for our 1 night stay, the host was very welcoming and allowed us to check in early. Tea and Coffee supplied in breakfast area rather than room but welcome to have as much as needed. Breakfast was nice. We found a lovely craft beer pub and a lovely Turkish restaurant, we had a lovely walk along the river and down to the lighthouse.
Shared facilities, but we knew when we booked that we were doing so, not being asked if we wanted everything on Full English to save wastage maybe be better to ask as one of us left the beans, also appears to only do fried eggs as not asked if we wanted scrambled etc.

The owner was eccentric and enthusiastic. Very helpful.
I booked a twin room with a colleague and it was a little like staying in a prison cell
