This place is amazing! The pictures in the add really dont justify the house and surroundings. Rooms are big and spacious, there are a wonderful balcony in one of the bedrooms. The pool feels like an Olympic pool very large we really enjoyed it a lot. The views are spectacular both in the day and evenings. We didn’t have loads of mosquitoes as we thought but in the day the cicadas was active.Communication was a bit hard because we don’t speak Italian but the owners was really nice and friendly and google helped a lot. We could definitely return to this place and recommend it to anyone seeking to get away from the tourist areas, we didn’t see a single foreign car in the area beside our own. Thank you Silvano and Francesca!

Wow, what can I say? I didn’t want to leave. What an absoloute hidden Gem. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Francesca, her lovely husband and an adorable dog I really wanted to take home to England. Check in process was smooth, had to sign forms. Typical of the EU now. Accommodation clean and had everything we need (such as shower gel, hair dryer, coffee) beds were very comfy and so were the pillows. It is a very rustic authentic Italian villa (think Italian decor) lovely pool, two bathrooms (fyi the bath isn’t really a full size bath, it’s more half the size of a British one) great powerful shower. Plenty of storage space. So lovely admiring the amazing views. I didn’t want to leave!!! You do require a vehicle to get here, it’s about a 1 hour drive from Marco Polo. Roads weren’t crazy busy. Hiring a car is cheap. We will be back!!! Thanks Francesca and husband (and doggy!) xxxPs I should mention although Francesca and husband do not speak English this is no problem as Google translate is perfect!!!!

Very quiet, a very comfortable place. The pool and the airconditioning in the sleeping rooms were extremely welcome by temperatures above 30°C. When we were in the villa we could live outside all the time under the large porch.

Thank you for our wonderful stay in Fontanafredda. The view from the villa was beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather. We enjoyed our early morning runs while still cool. Small areas of improvement would be welcomed by many, such as provision of a toaster, microwave, wine glasses for example (these items are listed in the amenities). However it did not deter from our enjoyment of the property. The BBQ was expertly utilised by Noel and we spent every evening outside on the patio listening to the crickets, watching the moon rise and sampling very tasty wines! Thank you for your guidance regarding the very active mosquito community! The provision of coil deterrents was appreciated. The Italian Tour Team 2019

The pictures of this property don't fully depict how beautiful and serene it is. We booked this villa based on location (close to Venice, Padua, etc.), but we loved it more than we ever expected thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and peaceful scenery of the Euganean Hills. Francesca and her family were warm and inviting when we met them, and they provided us with a wonderful place to stay for several days. We used the pool everyday; it is clean and well-maintained with an amazing view and a charming gazebo for lounging poolside. The patio offered an inviting space to drink coffee in the morning or wine in the evening while enjoying the well-tended garden and views of the countryside. Inside, the villa has plenty of room with three comfortable bedrooms and two fully equipped bathrooms. The master bedroom has a small balcony with an amazing view over vineyards and hills. We loved hearing the church bells every morning. The kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare food for ourselves, and Francesca personally showed us a local market for buying our supplies. Though there was a small language barrier (because we had not prepped ourselves by learning any Italian), Francesca was so patient and kind. She clearly wanted to make our stay pleasant in every way, and we can honestly say that we hated to leave this lovely place.

The house is very nice. The location is perfect to visit Venice, Padua, Verona, Lago di Garda and so on. The surrounding on the vineyard is very picturesque. The view from the pool is awesome. Our dogs enjoyed our stay. Just to mention: it's a semi-detached house. It wasn't a problem for us. Nevertheless it's very private and the neighbor is very kind. Francisca and Silvano are great hosts. Thank you for everything!

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cet endroit paradisiaque. Je recommande à toute ma famille et mes amis proche ce lieu si atypique et pourtant qui me rappelle mon Italie d’enfance !! Les propriétaires sont très avenants et gentil, toujours à la recherche du bien être de ses vacanciers. Maison très propre, très belle avec tout le matériel nécessaire (pour les moustiques et autres) !!! Chemin atypique pour accéder à la villa mais praticable avec un mini bus. Nous remercions chaudement Franchesca et Silvano pour leurs bienveillances Nous avons hâtes de revenir l’année prochaine !!

We hebben met ons gezin een prima week in dit huis gehad. De locatie is prachtig met een fenomenaal uitzicht. Een groot zwembad (wel duidelijk wat ouder) ook weer "with a view". In de omgeving is genoeg te doen, zowel wat dichterbij (wandelen, adventurepark, kasteel) als verder weg (Padua, Venetie, Verona...). De directe omgeving is weinig bekend bij buitenlanders, dus de experience in bv de trattoria's is authentiek en het nivo verrassend hoog. Verwacht geen moderne minimalistische villa, eerder authentiek en rustiek, met naar onze smaak wel erg veel spulletjes van de eigenaar, wat soms het gevoel geeft in iemand anders' huishouden te wonen. Als je daar doorheen kunt kijken is dit huis een prima keus. Wij komen nog wel een keer terug.

Tutto semplicemente perfetto. Prima ancora di parlare della villa, però, voglio sottolineare la disponibilità di Francesca, che ha sempre risposto velocemente ad ogni messaggio e mi ha sempre aiutato in ogni passaggio della prenotazione, supportandomi anche quando ho avuto alcuni problemi con la piattaforma di Vrbo in fase di pagamento. Un grazie va anche a Silvano, gentilissimo sia nel check in che nel check out. La casa è pulita, dotata di tutto quello che serve, immersa nel verde, con una vista spettacolare sui Colli Euganei. La veranda, spaziosissima, ha un grande tavolo che consente di mangiare sempre all'aperto e numerose sdraio sulle quali ci si può riposare in ogni momento della giornata. Il giardino, molto curato, ha come ciliegine sulla torta un tavolo da ping pong e una piscina con vista fantastica sui Colli. Nell'area piscina, inoltre, sono presenti sdraio, tavolino, materassino e rete da pallavolo gonfiabile da usare in acqua. In casa, al piano terra c'è la "zona giorno", con cucina (completa di tutto), ampia sala (con divanetti e camino) e un bagno con doccia; al piano superiore c'è la "zona notte", con 3 camere (tutte con finestra, una addirittura con balcone sui Colli) e un bagno con vasca. Che dire... Un weekend spettacolare. Speriamo proprio di tornarci!

Unsere Ferien vom 24.08.19 bis 06.09.19 waren wunderschön. Das Haus war schön und sauber, die Terrasse spendete den ganzen Tag Schatten, die Umgebung wunderschön und der Pool war einfach suuuper!!! Francesca und Silvano waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Silvano schaute alle 3 Tage nach dem Pool und entsorgte den Abfall. Vielen Dank für alles. In der Trattoria al Cantinon, Pizzeria Gabi und auf dem Weingut Ca Bianca haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Wir hatten sehr schöne und erholsame Ferien und kommen sehr gerne wieder .

Wir durften dieses Jahr das schöne Anwesen mit dem mega Pool zum zweiten Mal nutzen und wollten wie letztes Jahr nicht mehr nach Hause. Francesca und Silvano haben auf uns gewartet und uns freundlich begrüsst, Getränke waren auch schon kalt gestellt. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Silvano kommt alle drei Tage und schaut nach dem Pool und dem Rechten. Bei Fragen oder Problemen sind beide sofort zur Stelle. Die grosse Terrasse ist sehr einladend. Kurz :" Für unsere Kinder und uns ein Paradies". Wir kommen immer gerne wieder !!!! Im Ort gibt es die Trattoria Dal Santo da Fufi für ein geniales Pranzo und unser Lieblingslokal ist die Trattoria Al Cantinon wo man Mittags wie Abends hervorragend essen kann und einzigartig von Mihaela bewirtet wird (sie spricht auch Deutsch). Auch Deutsch sprechend und mit außergewöhnlich guter Bedienung Ristorante Pizzeria Antica Valle in Valle San Giorgio und natürlich schmeckt die Pizza klasse und Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem, auch zum mitnehmen geeignet. Fantastisch - Wir kommen wieder!

Wer Ruhe und Erholung in einer einzigartigen Umgebung und weit ab von jeglichem Rummel sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Wir sind mit dem Motorrad angereist und wollten gern einen Koffer vorab senden. Kein Problem! Die Vermieter haben uns bereitwillig ihre Privatanschrift mitgeteilt, haben den Koffer entgegen genommen und in die Villa gebracht. Toller Service! Und obwohl die Vermieter "nur" italienisch sprechen hat sich (dank Google Übersetzer) ein sehr herzlicher Kontakt entwickelt. Wir wurden von den Vermietern erwartet und in das Haus eingewiesen. Alles war picobello sauber! Selbst für ein kleines Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war gesorgt. Auf der großen, überdachten Terrasse haben wir bis in die Nacht gesessen und konnten wirklich einmal abschalten. Es gibt nur italienische Sender und deshalb blieb der Fernseher aus (Gott sei Dank). WLAN ist allerdings vorhanden. Besonders gefallen hat uns der wirklich große, absolut private und nicht einsehbare Pool. So etwas wird man in Italien sicherlich nicht noch einmal finden! Wir hatten ausgesprochen gutes Wetter und so ist es sehr schön, daß die Schlafzimmer mit Deckenventilatoren ausgestattet sind. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Venedig, Verona und den Gardasee unternommen und waren immer froh wenn wir abends wieder die Ruhe auf "unserem Weinberg" genießen konnten! Auch die nähere Umgebung lohnt sich zu erkunden und wer nicht selber kochen mag, findet von Pizza bis Meeresfrüchte genügend Möglichkeiten. Für uns war es das perfekte Haus, der perfekte Urlaub und wir sind "tiefenentspannt" wieder in Norddeutschland angekommen! Vielen herzlichen Dank!

un panorama extraordinaire vu de la piscine, cette maison est un havre de paix. La gentillesse de Francesca et de Silvano les propriétaires, on s'est senti tout de suite comme chez nous. Et je ne vous parle pas de ce silence, aucun bruit ne vient déranger votre séjour, quel luxe. La maison est chaleureuse et pratique, il ne manque rien pour faciliter votre séjour. De woning heeft een prachtig uitzicht en een mooi overdekt terras. Verder is er een erg groot privé zwembad met duikplank. Ook de omgeving is verrassend mooi. Leuke uitstapjes gedaan naar Monselice, Padua en Venetië. ‘S avonds kan je in de buurt lekker eten in allerlei kleine trattoria’s. Wij hebben genoten van een mooie week.

Grazie per averci permesso di trascorrere due settimane meravigliose nella tua casa. Quindi probabilmente ci siamo raramente sentiti in una casa per le vacanze. La posizione è di una bellezza unica, la piscina ha dato a noi e ai bambini un ottimo rinfresco e divertimento. Il fatto che il proprietario abbia controllato la piscina ogni tre giorni e abbia smaltito la spazzatura ha molto a che fare con la nostra Contributo al benessere. Anche i nostri più sinceri ringraziamenti. Nella zona c'è molto da scoprire e ad Este ci sono molte altre possibilità per attività ricreative. Non è molto lontano dal mare o da Venezia. Tutto sommato, non vediamo l'ora che la nostra prossima vacanza in questa bella casa. Grazie per una meravigliosa vacanza e il contatto molto bello e caloroso. Promettiamo di imparare l'italiano.

Een aanrader ! Als je houdt van rust, is dit de ideale plaats, afgelegen, maar toch vlak bij de supermarkt en gezellige dorpjes & stadjes. De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijk & behulpzaam. In het huis is alles wat je nodig hebt. We verschoten van de grote van het zwembad 18m*6m! Wel goed gewapend zijn tegen insecten, je zit in de bergen waar er veel vegetatie is. Op een uurtje ben je in Venetië, wel zien dat je rond 10-11u daar bent, anders zijn de parkings volzet. Zeker ook eens stoppen bij Ai colli, op 2 km van het huis, je kan er olijfolie & goede prosecco kopen & lekker eten , supervriendelijke gastvrouw.

Wir waren im Juli 2017 mit unseren 3 Kindern in diesem schönen, sehr ruhig gelegen Ferienhaus (Doppelhaushälfte) in den Bergen von Fontanafredda. Die Nachbarn, ein älteres, italienisches Ehepaar waren nur 2 Tage über's Wochenende da. Sie waren aber kaum zu merken. Das Haus ist italienisch rustikal eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer haben einen Deckenventilator, der nachts für angenehmes Klima sorgt. Wir hatten jeden Tag über 30 Grad und haben ausschließlich draußen auf der riesigen, überdachten Terrasse gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Es war schön, mal 10 Tage ohne Fernsehen zu leben, da es nur italienische Programme gibt, keine Satschüssel. Dafür aber W-Lan über LTE-Router mit 25 mbit. Das Highlight ist der Ausblick in die gegenüberliegenden Berge vom Megapool in Hanglage. Er ist privat, kein Gemeinschaftspool! Sowas gibt es in Italien wohl kein zweites Mal. Die Kinder waren begeistert und haben den ganzen Tag gebadet. Ein kleiner Wehrmutstropfen war hohe Chlorgehalt, der nach 2 Tagen Hautreizungen zu führte. Mit Bepanthen-Creme hatten wir das schnell wieder im Griff. Bei Lidl im ca. 10km entfernten Este kann man günstig einkaufen wie in Deutschland. Im Dorf gibt es eine sehr gute Pizzeria, wo man ohne reservieren selten einen Platz bekommt. Aber Achtung eine normale Pizza für 7 Euro hat einen Durchmesser von 45cm!! Die reicht für 2 Personen. Mann muss eine "piccolo" bestellen für 4€, die hat dann noch 30cm Durchmesser. Sonst ist in der Gegend nicht viel los, man kann ein paar alte Burgen und die Weinberge besichtigen. Zum Strand muss man 70km nach Chioggia fahren. Oder nach Jesolo bei Venedig. Das Aqualandia in Jesolo und ein Venedig-Besuch sind ein Muss! So schön und einzigartig hätten wir uns Venedig nicht vorgestellt. Wohl die einzige Möglichkeit für Urlaubs-Shopping. Die Vermieter Francesca und Silvano sind sehr freundlich und um das Wohlergehen bemüht. Sie sprechen nur italienisch, aber dank Google-Übersetzer konnten wir uns gut verständigen. Sie wohnen 20km entfernt. Silvano kam alle 2 Tage früh morgens zum gießen der Pflanzen und Müll entsorgen. Wir bedanken uns für diesen schönen Aufenthalt und empfehlen das Ferienhaus gerne weiter.

Wir haben die 1. Septemberwoche in diesem Traumhaus verbracht. Es war perfekt: in der Küche alles vorhanden, der Freisitz riesig, der Pool sensationell. Und der Blick am abend über die Colli.... in settembre ci siamo recati in zona per un matrimonio, abbiamo soggiornato presso la villa in 6 persone con 2 cani e che dire,favoloso! casa molto grande e accogliente, giardino grandissimo non recintato ma inserito in un contesto con cancello di ingresso chiuso la notte, piscina,ambiente esterno più che confortevole. la villa è bifamiliare divisa dai vicini da delle siepi che garantiscono la privacy.parcheggio interno e proprietaria gentilissima e molto disponibile. altamente consigliata!
